1/12/22 Jason Castro deserves a bigger role in 2022. A backup catcher is usually one of the least exciting players on a roster. The prototypical profile is simple: a capable defender behind the plate, but an easy out in the batter’s box. There aren’t many starting catchers who can actually hit, so those who are No.
