Abreu has two steals so far this month.

6/09/06Abreu is on another streak, this time hitting safely in all 8 games in June. Abreu is 10-27 in those games and has 5 RBI's, 9 BB's and 2 SB's. With this hitting streak, Abreu has moved his average from .273 to .286 on the season. Abreu will eventually get his average over .300 so expect the hitting to continue.
6/03/06Abreu is another player on the Phillies showing signs of heating up again. Abreu was 2-4 raising his average to .283 and now has 42 RBI's and 8 SB's on the season. Abreu is 1 of 4 Phillies to have 30 RBI's by June 1.
5/22/06Abreu continues to stay hot at the plate and in the process raise his batting average. Abreu helped the Phillies end their 5-game losing streak by going 3-3 with 5 RBI's and missing the cycle by a double. In his last 6 games Abreu is 10-22 with 8 RBI's and 3 SB's and is batting .290 on the season.
5/18/06Abreu, after missing a couple games with back spasms, has come back swinging. In the last two games versus Milwaukee, Abreu is 3-8 with 2 RBI's and looks comfortable at the plate. Abreu is safe to start in all fantasy leagues.
4/29/06Abreu, normally a slow starter in April, has continued to bat over .300 and drive in runs. Over the last five games, Abreu is 5-15 with 5 RBI's and a SB. Abreu is sandwiched between Utley and Burrell in the lineup and is the perfect #3 hitter with power and average.
4/16/06Abreu continued his hot start and is showing why he is still a top 5 fantasy outfielder. Last night Abreu hit a 2-run HR in the first and later had a 2-run double and a walk. On the season Abreu is hitting .341 with 13 RBI's in 11 games.

Hopefully he can get back to normal now that he is in camp with the Phillies. In his first spring training action, Abreu was 1-3, with an RBI double.
