9/05/10Pavano (16-10, 3.52 ERA) held the Rangers to three runs in eight innings in yesterday's 12-4 victory. He had lost his previous three starts. Pavano becomes the first Twins pitcher to win 16 games since Johan Santana went 19-6 and won a Cy Young Award in 2006.
8/29/10Pavano (15-10) was cruising through six innings in Seattle until the Mariners scored two runs in the seventh - enough to beat the Twins, 2-1. He allowed five hits and one walk in his seven innings for his third consecutive loss.
8/20/10Pavano (15-8, 3.52 ERA) set a career high and tied a club record by allowing 15 hits in a game last night against the White Sox. He gave up seven runs in six innings. The White Sox easily beat the Twins, 11-0. Pavano has allowed 48 baserunners in his last 25.1 IP.
8/14/10Pavano (15-7, 3.27 ERA) pitched into the seventh inning yesterday for his 15th win as the Twins beat the A's, 4-3. He allowed two runs and 10 hits over 6.1 innings and tied the Yankees' C.C. Sabathia and the Rays' David Price for the most wins in the American League.
8/08/10Pavano (14-7) led the Twins to a 7-2 victory over the Indians yesterday. He allowed seven hits, struck out six batters and walked four - one year to the day after the Indians traded him to the Twins. Pavano improved to 9-1 with a 2.62 ERA in his last 12 starts.
8/03/10Pavano (13-7, 3.32 ERA) gave up four runs and nine hits over six innings in yesterday's 4-2 loss to Jeremy Hellickson and the Rays. Pavano had gone 8-0 in his previous 10 starts.
7/28/10Pavano (13-6) with some serious offensive charges beat the Royals, 11-2, yesterday. Pavano went five innings and gave up five hits and one run while winning a career-best eighth consecutive decision.
7/23/10Pavano (12-6) pitched a five-hitter to earn his career-high seventh straight victory as the Twins defeated the Orioles 5-0 on Thursday. He struck out four batters and walked one in his fifth complete game of the season and 12th of his career. He has gone 7-0 in nine starts since June 3.
7/18/10Pavano (11-6) left the tying runner at third base stranded with one out in the ninth inning and threw five straight strikes to finish off the middle of Chicago’s lineup in last night’s 3-2 victory. The Twins’ go-to pitcher hurled his fourth complete game of 2010. He picked up where he left off before the All-Star break, striking out six batters while going the distance. The Yankees must be scratching their heads – "Why couldn’t he do that for us?"
7/11/10Pavano (10-6, 3.58 ERA) allowed just three runs on six hits over 7 2/3 innings in the Twins' 6-3 victory that prevented a weekend series sweep by the Tigers. The victory marked just the second win for the Twins in their last 10 games, and both wins have come in games that Pavano started. He has gone 5-0 in his last seven starts.
7/07/10Pavano gave up six runs on eight hits over 6 1/3 innings to the Blue Jays in a no decision last night. The game marked the first time that he did not deliver a quality start since June 3, when he gave up four runs over seven innings against the Mariners. Since that outing, he has delivered two complete games and lasted fewer than seven innings only once, a 6 1/3-inning performance against the Rays in his last start.
