6/14/25 García delivers 6th career walk-off hit in the 11th to give Rangers a 5-4 win over White Sox. Adolis García delivered his his sixth career walk-off hit with an RBI single with two out in the 11th inning to give the Texas Rangers a 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. García hit a line drive to the wall in center field on the first pitch from reliever Tyler Alexander (3-7), scoring automatic runner Evan Carter. It was the only hit allowed by Alexander in three innings.

6/08/25 White Sox agree to 1-year contract with left-hander Tyler Alexander. The Chicago White Sox added pitcher Tyler Alexander on Sunday, agreeing to a one-year contract with the veteran left-hander. Alexander, a Chicago native who turns 31 next month, was designated for assignment by Milwaukee last weekend. Alexander went 3-5 with a 6.19 ERA and one save in 21 appearances for the Brewers this season, including four starts.

Left-handed pitcher Tyler Alexander, who got designated for assignment by the Milwaukee Brewers this week, has elected free agency after clearing waivers. Alexander, 30, had been designated for assignment on Sunday. Alexander had a 3-5 record with a 6.19 ERA and one save for the Brewers this season while making 21 appearances, including four starts. Alexander is 20-33 with a 4.67 ERA in 164 career major league appearances.

4/14/25 Brewers hope a return home will end skid vs. Tigers. After dropping the final two games of a western swing, the Milwaukee Brewers will look to bounce back behind left-hander Tyler Alexander when they return home to open a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. Alexander (1-0, 2.84 ERA) will be opposed by left-hander Tarik Skubal (1-2, 3.78), the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner. Milwaukee lost at Arizona, 5-2, on Sunday, getting just 5 1/3 innings from starter Freddy Peralta. William Contreras had a two-run homer in the first inning for the Brewers, who failed to score the rest of the way.

(WNFL) – Tyler Alexander pitched 5 2/3 hitless innings to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Friday. Alexander who the Brewers picked up in the off-season walked 3 and struck out 6. Abner Uribe relieved and allowed the first Reds' hit in the seventh inning. Bryan Hudson, Joel Payamps and Trevor McGill each allowed a hit in their time on the mound as Cincinnati finished with 5 hits. They scored 2 unearned runs off of Hudson. The Brewers offense while not dynamic got the job done. 2/19/25 Brewers Receive Harsh Grade After Lackluster Offseason. It was a very quiet offseason for the Milwaukee Brewers. The only free agents they signed were pitchers Tyler Alexander and Grant Wolfram. The only trade they made was the deal that sent Devin Williams to the New York Yankees in exchange for Nestor Cortes and Caleb Durbin. All the elements of this mind-blowing run to a playoff spot were on display again Thursday as the Tigers' rallied from a 3-0 deficit and finished off a three-game sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays. 9/20/24 Rays Earn Second Straight Shutout With Win Over Blue Jays. The Tampa Bay Rays (76-78) defeated the Toronto Blue Jays (73-81) 1-0 on Friday night at Tropicana Field for their second straight shutout win. It is the first time this season the Rays have thrown shutouts on back-to-back nights. Tyler Alexander got the start and pitched four and one-third shutout innings in which he allowed just two hits while striking out six and walking one. A bullpen combination of Kevin Kelly (4-2, 2.77), Manuel Rodriguez, Edwin Uceta, Colin Poche and Hunter Bigge combined to complete the shutout.
