4/03/25 Lions linked to Bears $133 million All-Pro in potential shocking move. Last season was an interesting year for Keenan Allen and the Chicago Bears. Allen was expected to be an elite target for rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, and while some of the struggles can't be put on either side, it didn't necessarily go as planned. Allen, a native of Greensboro, North Carolina, is now a free agent and still remains on the market. Surprisingly, no team has yet to meet his asking price, which raises some questions about where he'll eventually end up.

3/31/25 Jim Harbaugh breaks silence on 'possible' Keenan Allen Chargers' reunion. Wide receiver Keenan Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears last offseason but is now a free agent. He's publicly voiced interest in reuniting with the Los Angeles Chargers , and head coach Jim Harbaugh also said he's keen on bringing back the franchise legend. Via Daniel Popper: “Anything's possible. That would be cool.” While Harbaugh didn't coach Allen, he's undoubtedly aware of his abilities. The wideout was selected by the Chargers in 2013 out of the University of California. In 11 seasons with Los Angeles, Allen put up very solid numbers. He compiled 100+ receptions in five of those seasons and reeled in 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven TDs in 2023 before departing in free agency. Related

3/29/25 Chargers trade idea has team acquiring young deep threat from Colts. The Los Angeles Chargers could still be in the market to add more help at the wide receiver position before next month's draft. While some names still remain available in free agency, including former Chargers great Keenan Allen, the team could also look to make a trade. Acquiring a young wide receiver at an affordable rate could be the route that Joe Hortiz and Jim Harbaugh would like to take. If that is the case, the Indianapolis Colts could have a great option for the team.

3/28/25 Chargers' path to Keenan Allen reunion just got more complicated. The Los Angeles Chargers haven't done a whole lot to address their ailing receiving corps this offseason. Yes, they signed Mike Williams, but he hasn't been truly productive since 2022. Well, the general consensus is that Los Angeles will end up reuniting with Keenan Allen, who spent the first 11 years of his career with the Bolts before linking up with the Chicago Bears in 2024. Allen may not be the same receiver he once was, but he still managed to log 70 catches for 744 yards and seven touchdowns this past season, and he is just two years removed from hauling in 108 receptions for 1,243 yards and seven scores.

3/25/25 Chargers great Keenan Allen predicted to join rival Raiders in NFL free agency. When the Los Angeles Chargers brought back a familiar face in Mike Williams, many speculated that they could do the same with Keenan Allen. Both Williams and Allen were let go last offseason by the team due to cap reasons, but now have the opportunity to join forces again on the Bolts. Allen, who still remains unsigned, is regarded as one of the top free agents still available. Nick Shook of NFL.com predicts that Allen will make his way back to the AFC West, but not to the Chargers.

3/17/25 Could Keenan Allen disrupt the Chicago Bears' 2025 NFL draft plans with his next move?. Keenan Allen's one and only season with the Chicago Bears in 2024 was... fine. At least, it didn't live up to the expectations that come along with trading for a player who's long been considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Allen finished the 2024 season with 70 catches for 744 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games, a far cry from his 108 catches for 1,243 yards and seven scores in 2023. Now, as an unrestricted free agent still searching for a destination as the third wave begins, there's a chance Keenan Allen's lasting legacy with the Bears will be frustrating.

3/15/25 Keenan Allen Reuniting With Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert, Mike Williams?. Will the Los Angeles Chargers bring back wide receiver Keenan Allen? After a relatively quite start to the opening of NFL free agency, the Chargers signed receiver Mike Williams to a one-year deal worth $6 million. When speaking to reporters on Friday, Williams talked about the potential of reuniting with Allen if both receivers end up returning to Los Angeles. Both Williams and Allen started their careers with the Chargers, and the two receivers overlapped for seven seasons.

3/14/25 Chargers' new addition makes strong recruiting pitch to star WR. The Los Angeles Chargers made a new addition to their receiving corps this week (well, kind of), signing Mike Williams to a one-year deal. Of course, Williams spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Chargers before being released last March. Remember: Williams had comprised a rather impressive duo with Keenan Allen for quite some time, but LA decided to part with both playmakers last offseason.

2/28/25 Is Keenan Allen teasing return to Chargers with practice clip flood on Instagram?. Keenan Allen spent 11 seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers where he was often one of the more underappreciated players in the NFL. Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2024 as the Chargers made several changes under head coach Jim Harbaugh . Allen recorded 70 receptions for 744 yards with seven touchdowns for the Bears and enters free agency in 2025. 2/12/25 Re-signing Keenan Allen likely to cost more than Chicago Bears will want to pay. Less than a year ago, Ryan Poles gave up a fourth-round pick to acquire Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers. Now, the Chicago Bears may not want to pay what it will cost to bring the veteran receiver back. Allen's contract is set to expire at the start of the new league year in March after costing Chicago $23.1 million against their salary cap this season.

1/04/25 Keenan Allen is talking about a Chargers reunion again. Whether former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen returns to the team this upcoming offseason has been a consistent point of discussion. It isn't just fan speculation, either, as Allen himself has openly suggested a return to Los Angeles. Allen apparently brought that possibility up again this week. According to the Chicago Sun-Times' Patrick Finley, Allen said he'd like to play in Los Angeles next season if he doesn't re-up with the Chicago Bears.
