Ramon Laureano had three hits and three RBIs, Manny Machado added three hits and Jake Cronenworth finished with two hits and two RBIs for the Padres, who have won eight of 10.

The Tampa Bay Rays (56-59) defeated the Los Angeles Angels (55-59) 7-3 on Tuesday night in Anaheim to even the three-game series at a game apiece. The Rays offense erupted with seven runs in the fourth inning to take control of the game. The Angels got two in the fifth and one in the sixth but the Rays remained in control en route to the win. Ryan Pepiot (7-9, 3.77) got the win for the Rays, allowing three runs - two of them earned - in five and two-third innings of work while striking out six and walking one.
