The 13th overall pick in last year's MLB draft, Tibbs opened the season with the Eugene Emeralds — the High-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, he was dealt to the Boston Red Sox on June 15 as part of the stunning Rafael Devers trade.
