The matchup against the might of the Dodgers lineup wasn't one the Cardinals would have sought for rookie Matt Svanson a few weeks ago, but there it was late Tuesday night. “There's nothing from a projection standpoint that show those should be successful lanes for him,” manager Oliver Marmol said of lining Svanson up to face former MVPs Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.
