Falcons Third-Rounder Ranked Among Best Picks in 2025 NFL Draft. Much of the national conversation around the 2025 NFL Draft for the Atlanta Falcons has been the team's trade back up into the first round. On Tuesday, Sports Illustrated's (and SI on Falcons' own) Daniel Flick named Watts one of his favorite selections of the entire 2025 draft class. "Atlanta's defense has 20 interceptions over the past two seasons, and safety Jessie Bates III has 10 of them. The Falcons needed another playmaker on the back end," Flick wrote . CeeDee Lamb (WR - DAL)

2025 NFL free agency: Cowboys looking to resolve WR2 after draft, but how and when?. Only two other position groups, defensive line and offensive line, have more bodies, and the question still remains regarding who will be the definitive WR2 in complement to CeeDee Lamb, seeing as he needs a Robin to his Batman. Which of those players, below Lamb, can you point to and say, "That is WR2 for 2025, without question"? If you can, color yourself far more confident than the Cowboys are right now, seeing as they took to the stage in two of the three in-draft press conferences and openly admitted they themselves have no clue what that answer would be as the calendar prepares to welcome May, and with Brandin Cooks now reunited with the New Orleans Saints.

Eagles Predicted To Keep Fan-Favorite Despite Rumors. The Philadelphia Eagles have been a team at the center of a lot of trade rumors over the last few weeks. The vast majority of the rumors have been centered around tight end Dallas Goedert but he currently is still a member of the franchise. The 2025 National Football League Draft has come and gone and the team didn't move him for draft picks. There aren't any options out there at this point who could compare to him in the passing game if the Eagles wanted to look at free agency.

The next Jimmy Graham? Broncos' Sean Payton sees potential in Caleb Lohner. Estimated read time: 3-4 minutes KEY TAKEAWAYS Caleb Lohner, a former Utah basketball player, was drafted by the Broncos. Selected in the seventh round, Lohner's football experience is limited but promising. Coach Sean Payton sees potential, comparing Lohner's transition to Jimmy Graham's. DENVER — It was an improbable pick Saturday afternoon. Caleb Lohner wasn't like most — probably all? — of the other 256 players selected in this year's NFL draft. He hadn't spent years perfecting his game, hoping someday to get a shot with a team in one of the seven rounds of the draft. Instead, his chance at an NFL opportunity (especially as a drafted player) was a long shot — at best. In fact, the game film

Jets Caught In Crosshairs Of NFL Draft Controversy. The New York Jets had a pretty successful National Football League Draft this past weekend. It was Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey's first while being in charge of the organization. New York pretty much filled every major roster hole, including the offensive line and tight end. Detroit Lions (DEF - DET)

4/28/25 4:57 AM -
Za'Darius Smith predicted to ditch Lions reunion for deal with AFC contender. The Detroit Lions failed to adequately address the edge rusher position during the 2025 NFL Draft, which has led to renewed hope that the team could bring back Za'Darius Smith, who was cut by the Lions earlier this offseason. The Lions drafted a promising edge rusher in Boise State's Ahmed Hassanein, but he was a sixth-round pick and the chances of him providing the boost the Lions need opposite Aidan Hutchinson in 2025 are slim.

Stock up, stock down for Carolina Panthers after 2025 NFL draft. For the most part, the Carolina Panthers made most of their final moves of the offseason over the weekend at the 2025 NFL draft. The Panthers picked not one but two wideouts. Tetairoa McMillan is the perfect player to add for Bryce Young, and Jimmy Horn Jr. could be a steal of the draft and a useful offensive weapon, too.

Cowboy Roundup: Winners & losers on Dallas roster after NFL draft, NFC East grades. It was an eventful NFL Draft weekend, and now we are witnessing all of the fallout around the NFL while teams look to re-examine their rosters to see what team needs remain. For the Cowboys, WR2 is a major need and their is some hope the team could still make a splash before OTAs. If they don't, Jerry Jones and company appear to have a strong belief in Joanthan Mingo or Jalen Tolbert stepping up into the role. The Cowboys' 2025 draft class has several players who could make an impact from Day 1, meaning some players are in danger of losing their jobs, while others saw opportunities open up.

Is the biggest Chargers UDFA about to attempt an NFL position change?. Los Angeles Chargers undrafted free agent signing DJ Uiagalelei has had a wild story on his path to joining the team. And it might just get wilder, too. Sports Illustrated's NFL insider Albert Breer has suggested that Uiagalelei could make the switch to tight end with the Chargers. Pro comparisons for Chargers' top draft picks. Comparing draft prospects to NFL players, both former and current, is an annual tradition. Each of Bleacher Report's scouting reports had pro comparisons, starting with first-round pick, running back Omarion Hampton, who drew shades of Lions' David Montgomery. Hampton and Montgomery don't have home-run-hitter speed, but both wear defenses down with power, vision, and balance. Second-round pick, wide receiver Tre Harris' pro comparison was former Saints' Michael Thomas.
