Buffalo addressed several needs throughout the three day draft and added several players who are expected to contribute immediately on one of the best rosters in the league. Following the draft, Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN, Chad Reuter of NFL.com and others graded Buffalo's draft haul. NFL Draft 2024: Jets finally draft Braelon Allen after 4th-round trades. The New York Jets started Saturday afternoon with four fourth-round picks. It's an interesting move for the Jets, but not a surprising one given they went into the day with only two running backs locked into roster spots for 2024: Breece Hall and Israel Abanikanda. The Jets could have had Washington State safety Jaden Hicks, regarded as one of the best in the draft, several times during the fourth round -- which would have filled a potential starting safety need for them.

Jordan Akins is the No. 2 guy now, and while he and Deshaun Watson have a relationship going back to Houston when they both played for the Texans, Akins only had 15 catches for 132 yards in 2023.
