8/30/10	Mike Sweeney, playing firstbase for the struggling Ryan Howard, had a nice game. Sweeney went 1-4 with 2 rbi's and a run scored to help the Phillies sweep the Padres. Sweeney is batting .255 but has been a nice late season addition to the Phillies bench.
8/20/10	Mike Sweeney provided the only offense for the Phillies as they lost the final game of the series. Sweeney went 1-3 and drove in the only runs for the Phillies in the 9th. Sweeeney is batting .266 with 6 HR's and 21 rbi's on the year.
8/04/10	The Phillies acquired Sweeney from the Mariners. He figures to get some playing time at first base until Ryan Howard returns from the DL.
7/26/10	Sweeney was forced to leave his minor-league rehab game with an apparent leg injury.
7/25/10	Sweeney is 8-for-25 with three doubles in six rehab starts at AAA. "With the roster right now, we're going to have to make some moves to allow him to come back up, but he's doing everything he can and feeling good," Manager Don Wakamatsu said.
6/27/10	The Mariners placed Sweeney on the 15-Day disabled list retroactive to June 26th with back spasms.
