After Justin Steele tossed 4.2 scoreless innings in his first start since Opening Day, the bullpen imploded once again for the Cubs as relievers Daniel Palencia and Richard Lovelady, collectively, gave up 6 runs over in 1.1 innings pitched while each giving up 3 hits. The expectation is that as the Cubs' starting pitchers get healthy, that should provide some resolution to the struggles of the bullpen as Hayden Wesneski may be moved from the starting rotation to the bullpen in a similar way that Ben Brown was after Steele's return.
