5/11/24 Rams News: Matthew Stafford Earns Middling Position in Recent QB Ranking. Hot off his second-ever Pro Bowl appearance in a bounceback 2023 season, 36-year-old Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is regarded as something of a dubious proposition heading into 2024. 5/09/24 Rams trade Super Bowl winner to Texans instead of releasing him. The Los Angeles Rams are moving forward this season with a retooled offense featuring Matthew Stafford's return at quarterback plus the addition of national championship winner Blake Corum in the backfield. The Rams won't include the services of Ben Skrowenek, the wide receiver whom the team almost released before trading him to DeMeco Ryans, CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans. The news came amid Rams GM Les Snead leaving the door open for an Aaron Donald return to the team.

5/03/24 Los Angeles Rams 53-man roster prediction post-NFL Draft. The roster deadline is months away for the Los Angeles Rams, but there's plenty of value in seeing how the roster currently stacks up. The Rams have some positions to fortify and questions they need to answer and have the cap space to do so. Who makes the roster? Which previous players don't make the 2024 roster? With rookie minicamp coming up, I gave it my best shot to project what the Rams's 53-man roster will look like before the season. Los Angeles Rams 53-man roster projection Quarterback (2*): Matthew Stafford (Jimmy Garoppolo*) Stetson Bennett There's no real surprise here. Bennett will have to work his way back to fully guarantee his spot on the roster, but I'd be surprised if he doesn't

Author: Alex Kirschenbaum May 01, 2024 In this story: Bill Simmons Aaron Donald Rams Los Angeles Rams Following a surprise 10-7 season in 2023, the Los Angeles Rams made a wild card berth in the playoffs, one season removed from a miserable 5-12 finish. The team just picked 10 new players in a generally well-regarded 2024 NFL Draft run, starting with the No. 19 selection, former Florida State University defensive end Jared Verse.
