Texas' wide receiver Xavier Worthy made history Saturday as he became the fastest player in the history of the NFL scouting combine. Worthy blazed a scorching 4.21 official time in the 40-yard dash, topping former University of Washington wide receiver John Ross' 4.22 time from the 2017 combine. Worthy ran a 4.25 on his first try before beating the times of Baylor corner Kalon “Boogie” Barnes' 4.23 in 2022 and East Carolina running back Chris Johnson's 4.24 in 2008.
