4/27/25 | Rays' Zack Littell looks for elusive win in clash vs. Padres. The series finale on Sunday between the visiting Tampa Bay Rays and San Diego Padres could be seen by a true cynic as a movable force against a resistible object. Tampa Bay will vie for a series sweep behind right-hander Zack Littell (0-5, 5.28 ERA), who's pitched well at times but been hurt by a lack of offensive support and untimely home run balls. The Rays will take aim at a San Diego team that's scored one run in the last 34 innings and owns its first three-game losing streak of the season. Littell's most recent start was the Rays' last loss, a 5-1 decision Tuesday night at Arizona. Source: https://www.reuters.com/sports/baseball/rays-zack-... |

4/22/25 | Rays score first at Arizona, but it's another Zack Littell loss. The Rays got off to a good start in Tuesday's opener of a six-game western road trip, scoring first for the first time in more than a week. The problem was they didn't score again, and a lot of what else happened was somewhat familiar in a 5-1 loss to the Diamondbacks, their 1998 expansion brethren. Most notably, the Rays failed to convert several promising opportunities and didn't give starter Zack Littell much support. The Rays took a 1-0 lead in the second when rookie Kameron Misner doubled with two outs off Arizona starter Brandon Pfaadt and fellow rookie Jake Mangum followed with a single. 4/18/25 | Rays share rave reviews for Yankees' Steinbrenner Field: 'It's gorgeous'. As the Yankees prepared for their first road game at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Thursday, their tenants appeared more than cozy. Gone were all the Yankees logos that once filled the home clubhouse. A nearby column held a dartboard, courtesy of Zack Littell. Three fishing poles hung between Littell and Shane McClanahan's locker, while a charcoal caricature portrait of Yandy Díaz dangled from his stall. 4/15/25 | Zack Littell faces Red Sox confident better execution is the answer. Zack Littell's results have not been very good, evidenced by an ugly pitching line for that includes a majors-most three losses, an American League-high five homers, a 6.88 ERA and 18 hits allowed in 17 innings. Littell allowed one run over six innings in a tough-luck loss to Colorado on March 29, gave up five runs over seven innings at Texas on April 4, and got knocked out after four-plus innings by the Angels on Thursday, giving up seven runs, including four homers. “Honestly, I'd make the argument I've had one bad start, the Texas one,” Littell said Tuesday.
