4/08/24 | Tigers fall behind early again, drop third straight game in Pittsburgh. It's a tough way to live, even when the bats are hot. On Monday, the torrid Pittsburgh Pirates pummeled right-hander Reese Olson for five runs in the first three innings and rode that to a 7-4 win at PNC Park before a tiny crowd of 9,957. It was the Tigers' third straight loss and in the previous two, they trailed virtually right out of the gate (2-0 in the first on Saturday, 5-0 after two innings Sunday). For a team that's scored the fourth fewest runs in the American League so far, it's an almost insurmountable climb. Source: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/mlb/tiger... |
