4/21/24 Dodgers Prospect Andy Pages 'Put In A Lot Of Work' After Shoulder Surgery. With Jason Heyward facing an extended stint on the 10-day injured list and the bottom of the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup collectively scuffling, Andy Pages has received an opportunity that came earlier than expected. Talent has not been the question for Pages, but rather the simple fact that the Dodgers prospect had season-ending left shoulder surgery in 2023. Pages singled in the first at-bat of his MLB debut — a moment that has been commemorated with his first bobblehead — but otherwise hasn't yet provided some of the offensive production seen during Spring Training and to begin the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

4/18/24 Dodgers Prospect Andy Pages Has 'Runway' To Make Impact. With Jason Heyward still on the 10-day injured list because of lower back tightness and the bottom of the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup in need of a spark, heralded prospect Andy Pages is getting an opportunity earlier than anticipated. Pages underwent left shoulder surgery in 2023 and wasn't projected to make his MLB debut until later this year. Now the Dodgers intend on giving Pages ample opportunities at the Major League level.

4/16/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Jason Heyward Needs Rehab Assignment Due To Setback. Jason Heyward enjoyed a bounce-back season with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023 and it led to re-signing with the team, but the veteran outfielder has yet to get on track this year. “He's trending in the right way as far as feeling better, but the residual soreness has sort of been looming,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “He's going to have to go on a rehab assignment given now the time off that he's had and going to have.” When previously discussing Heyward's recovery and outlook, Roberts said the team had not yet decided if a rehab assignment would be necessary before the veteran outfielder returned to the Dodgers lineup.

4/07/24 Mookie Betts & Tyler Glasnow Among Dodgers Who Surprised Kids At Jason Heyward Baseball Academy. After a 6-1 homestand to start the regular season, the Los Angeles Dodgers began their first road trip by visiting the Chicago Cubs for three games at Wrigley Field. The weekend series gave Jason Heyward an opportunity to return to the city that he has made the biggest impact in his baseball career and where he calls home. The 34-year-old played seven seasons with the Cubs and helped them end their 108-year World Series championship drought in 2016. Heyward did not get a chance to face his former team due to being on the 10-day injured list with lower back tightness, but he still brightened the day of several local youth baseball players.
