5/11/24 Dodgers News: Blake Treinen's Stuff 'Is In A Great Place'. Blake Treinen finally made his 2024 season debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 5 against the Atlanta Braves and he looked just as effective as L.A. remembered him. It was the first Major League action Treinen has seen since missing all of 2023 due to injury. It took until May for Treinen to make his debut this season thanks to an injury to his ribs that he suffered back in Spring Training. Treinen has been a mainstay in the Dodgers bullpen since the 2020 season and has been extremely effective as their extreme high-leverage arm and eighth inning setup-man.

5/10/24 Two years (and broken ribs) later, Blake Treinen returns at key time for Dodgers bullpen. Reliever Blake Treinen seemed on his way to coming back from the shoulder injuries that sidelined him much of the past two years. Then his patience was tested anew.

5/05/24 Blake Treinen returns for the Dodgers bullpen, but Evan Phillips heads to the injured list. Phillips suffered hamstring strain, not expected to be serious, when he "caught a spike" following a pregame workout.

4/24/24 Dodgers Injury Updates: Blake Treinen Began Rehab Assignment, Jason Heyward Delayed. Blake Treinen and Jason Heyward were among the first members of the Los Angeles Dodgers to be bitten by the injury bug this season. Treinen has not made his 2024 debut as a result of fractured ribs he suffered late in Spring Training due to being hit by a line-drive comebacker to the chest. The Dodgers were optimistic Treinen and Heyward would be back in action sooner rather than later, but both injuries have persisted well beyond the initial assessment.

4/24/24 Dodgers' Blake Treinen, Jason Heyward injury updates ahead of 9-game road trip. While the Los Angeles Dodgers (14-11) are sitting in first place in the NL East, the club almost has as many injured players as wins. Two of those players are relief pitcher Blake Treinen and outfielder Jason Heyward, who each would strengthen the team significantly if they were healthy. Club manager Dave Roberts offered updates on both of their statuses Tuesday, via The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya. When can the Dodgers expect both players to be fully back up to speed?

4/19/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Blake Treinen Improving 'Really Smoothly'. The Los Angeles Dodgers were hopeful to have Blake Treinen to start the season after he missed two seasons due to shoulder surgery. Treinen was pitching in Spring Training and seemed on track to make the Opening Day roster, but he ended up being struck by a comebacker on a line drive late in the Cactus League schedule. It was initially believed Treinen just suffered a bruise, so he traveled to South Korea with the team, where the expectation was he would be on the roster for the Seoul Series. 4/09/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Blake Treinen Not Close To Starting Rehab Assignment. Blake Treinen has yet to make his 2024 regular season debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers as his recovery from a bruised lung is taking longer than initially expected. Treinen was hit in the chest/ribs by a line-drive comebacker on March 9, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said X-rays and a CT scan were both negative. Treinen was included on the Dodgers' travel roster for South Korea under the belief he would be recovered come Opening Day.

4/05/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Blake Treinen 'Weeks' From Returning. As the Los Angeles Dodgers were in the final stretch of their Cactus League games, Blake Treinen sustained an upper body injury that initially was considered relatively minor. Treinen at that point was expected to be on the Opening Day roster but instead began the season on the 15-day injured list. Blake Treinen is still “weeks” away from returning.

3/10/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Blake Treinen Sustained Bruised Lung. The Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen has not included Blake Treinen on a full-time basis since the 2021 season, but that was expected to change this year. Treinen made just five appearances in 2022 and one during the National League Division Series that year due to right shoulder trouble that ultimately required surgery. The Dodgers exercised their $1 million team option on Treinen for 2024, and that was proving to be a prudent decision in Spring Training thus far.

Dodgers Reliever Blake Treinen Doesn't Want Career to Be Over Treinen, 35, is looking to make a comeback after missing the entire 2023 season. Author: Matt Levine Mar 5, 2024 12:43 PM EST In this story: Los Angeles Dodgers One key member of the Dodgers' bullpen since his 2020 arrival has been veteran Blake Treinen. The right-hander has been a relied-upon member of the relief staff since the team's last World Series championship run. His absence last season was heavily felt. Treinen missed the entire 2023 season after undergoing shoulder surgery in Nov. 2022. He tried to make a comeback at the end of last season but was held back to make sure he was fully ready for this year. Now 35,

The Dodgers re-signed Treinen to a two-year, $17.5 million contract that offseason. In 2021, Treinen enjoyed his best year since an All-Star season in 2018 with the Oakland Athletics.

2/17/24 Blake Treinen, Daniel Hudson & J.P. Feyereisen Expected To Be On Dodgers' Opening Day Roster. The Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen already had a crowded outlook heading into the 2024 season, and it was further muddied by manager Dave Roberts indicating the club intends to carry a trio of right-handers who are each coming off injury. “I think the goal is to have them active,” Roberts answered when asked how likely Blake Treinen and J.P. Feyereisen are to be included on the Dodgers' Opening Day roster.

2/09/24 Dodgers Injury Update: Blake Treinen Has 'Zero Discomfort' When Throwing. When healthy, Blake Treinen has been not just one of the Los Angeles Dodgers most effective relievers, but one of the top arms in all of MLB. Since the start of the 2022 season, Treinen has thrown just five total innings. Treienen did begin a rehab assignment last year, but he was shut down due to shoulder soreness. Now with another offseason of rest and rehab, Treinen is feeling good to go for Spring Training and has no lingering side effects.

1/06/24 JP Feyereisen Reveals His Potential Role in the Dodgers' Bullpen This Season. JP Feyereisen Reveals His Potential Role in the Dodgers' Bullpen This Season He may be the Dodgers' least talked-about acquisition for 2024. Author: Kevin Skinner Publish date: Jan 7, 2024 12:00 PM EST In this story: Los Angeles Dodgers According to Fangraphs, the Dodgers bullpen had a 3.42 ERA which placed them third in MLB. They did that without some of their most exciting arms in Blake Treinen and J.P. Feyereisen. The Dodgers traded for Feyereisen from the Rays in 2022 after he underwent surgery to repair his rotator cuff and labrum. Prior to the injury in 2022, he did not surrender a single earned run in 24.1 innings. Now, after a year of rehab, he looks ahead to 2024 and what his role will
