6/10/25 How new SF Giant Dominic Smith fixed his approach with a blast from his SoCal past. Dominic Smith could only laugh at what he was seeing. It was May 2024, and Smith had just signed with the Boston Red Sox when he met with hitting coach Peter Fatse to review film. Fatse didn't believe Smith was maximizing his athleticism in the batter's box, so he combed through Smith's old footage to find examples of Smith doing so. Fatse didn't show Smith videos from 2020, the year that Smith earned MVP votes.

6/06/25 Giants Can Address Major Lineup Weakness in Trade Deadline Deal With Brewers. The San Francisco Giants desperately need to figure something out at first base because they production they have received there to this point will not cut it. Taking over for him in some capacity will be Dominic Smith, who was signed to a contract and will immediately be on the active roster tonight against the San Diego Padres. A former first-round pick, Smith has never quite lived up to that billing.
