7/05/25 Blue Jays Could Make Important Rotation Upgrade With Trade for This Star. The Toronto Blue Jays have been on a heater. Now, based on their standing in the American League, they should be team that is looking to upgrade their roster before July 31. The most obvious area that needs a boost is their starting rotation. Chris Bassitt, Kevin Gausman and Jose Berrios have all been solid this year with fWAR values above 1.0 and ERAs below 4.50.

7/02/25 Could Blue Jays Get Into Trade Sweepstakes for Red Sox Star Alex Bregman?. The Toronto Blue Jays have thrust themselves into the playoff picture in the American League with some strong performances on the field over the last few weeks. Right on the heels of the New York Yankees in the AL East race, only one game behind, the front office is going to pursue upgrades aggressively ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Chris Bassitt and Jose Berrios have been excellent as the anchors. Kevin Gausman's performance has been a roller coaster, but he is taking his turn through the rotation each time.

6/27/25 Blue Jays Have Two Players Who Will Determine How Much Help the Bullpen Needs. The Toronto Blue Jays have been playing just good enough to hang around in the playoff race in the American League. With a 43-37 record, they are only three games behind the New York Yankees for first place in the AL East and are currently holding the second wild card spot. There are several factors that will determine whether or not the Blue Jays can remain in the mix and eventually qualify for the postseason. Beyond Chris Bassitt and Jose Berrios, things are shaky.

6/10/25 Toronto Blue Jays Biggest Question Lies on the Mound With Starting Rotation. The Toronto Blue Jays are one of the hottest teams in baseball, winning 11 out of their last 14 games to push their record to 36-30 on the season. Most recently, those streaks have been of the winning variety, not losing, thrusting them into the playoff picture in the American League. If the Blue Jays are going to remain in the race, they have a few areas of concern to figure out. The biggest concern is their starting pitching, where they need to find some depth behind Chris Bassitt, Kevin Gausman and Jose Berrios.

6/09/25 Massive Jays Offseason Signing Hits Major Milestone in Injury Recovery. The Toronto Blue Jays have had a relatively solid start to their 2025 campaign, currently sitting at 35-30 and in third place in the American League East. While the offensive side of things has started to turn around for the team, they have heavily relied on their bullpen to carry the weight early on as their starting rotation tries to figure things out. The first three starters in the group have been pretty impressive for the Blue Jays, including José Berríos, Chris Bassitt, and Kevin Gausman. Bowden Francis has had a tough go of things early on, but the team may be getting a boost soon from one of their offseason acquisitions as he works back from injury.

5/12/25 Blue Jays Could Entertain Trading Chris Bassitt if Season Goes South. It has been a season filled with ups and downs for the Toronto Blue Jays, who have struggled with consistency so far. With the team hovering around the .500 mark, this campaign could still go in a couple of different directions. If some underperforming players start to get going, the American League is fairly weak and the Blue Jays could find itself in the playoff hunt. With the team being so inconsistent early on, it has been a challenge to figure them out.

5/03/25 The injury Jose Ramirez suffered during Guardians-Blue Jays game. So far this season, Jose Ramirez has been unbelievable for the Cleveland Guardians . He's put the franchise on his back and has had a variety of compliments about his game. However, he sustained a rather unusual injury on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Ramirez sustained a mild ankle sprain in the third inning. He was hit in the back by a throw from Blue Jays pitcher Chris Bassitt, tumbled over first base, and stayed down after the fall, according to MLB.com. On the season, the Guardians slugger is batting .261 with five home runs and 15 RBIs. The numbers don't do justice for how impactful he is.
