7/11/25 Dodgers' bullpen leaning to the left with Michael Kopech's latest injury. The right side of the Dodgers' bullpen took another hit this week. On the injured list with right knee inflammation, continued discomfort led to surgery for Michael Kopech. The procedure to repair a torn meniscus will sideline him until at least the end of August. “It was a minor cleanup,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.

7/09/25 Michael Kopech undergoes surgery for torn meniscus in latest Dodgers crusher. The Dodgers' brutal week just got worse. In the midst of a six-game losing streak, the team moved reliever Michael Kopech to the 60-day injured list after he underwent surgery to repair the torn meniscus in his right knee, the Orange County Register reported Wednesday . 7/03/25 Dodgers' Michael Kopech Has No Timeline to Return From New Injury. With so many injuries to their pitching staff, it's no secret the Los Angeles Dodgers have been looking for pitching help. Michael Kopech had been out all of April and May with a shoulder issue. Upon coming back to action, the Dodgers were hoping the flamethrower would solidify the bullpen as a right-handed high-leverage ace. Unfortunately for Kopech, he was recently put back on the IL with a right knee issue.

7/02/25 Michael Kopech says time in playoffs with White Sox prepared him for Dodgers' World Series run. Michael Kopech gets it. The White Sox lost 101 games in 2023, a modern-era-record 121 games in 2024, and they're on their second major rebuild in 10 years. In reality, they are only four years removed from their last playoff berth, when they won the American League Central with a 93-69 record and lost a four-game AL Division Series to the Astros in 2021. “I know recent history can make it seem like it was a long time ago, but it feels like yesterday to me,” said Kopech, the Dodgers reliever who was acquired from the Sox in a three-team deal last July 29.

6/09/25 Ex-Red Sox Prospect Finally Makes 2025 Dodgers Debut. He's back. Right-hander Michael Kopech returned from the injured list Saturday and made his season debut Sunday, throwing a scoreless inning in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 7-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Kopech closed out the Dodgers' win, giving up one hit and striking out one in his return to the mound. The victory was the first for Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw since last August. The three-time Cy Young Award winner went five innings, giving up one run while striking out seven. The Dodgers hope Kopech can help bring stability to a pitching staff that has been riddled with injuries. 6/07/25 Dodgers get pitching boost before Cardinals clash. The Los Angeles Dodgers (38-26) presently boast the fifth-best record in MLB and lead a crammed National League West division, but they do not look like their usually dominant self. An injury-ravaged pitching staff most logically explains why the defending World Series champions have labored a bit more than anticipated. The Dodgers have activated right-handed relief pitchers Michael Kopech and Tyler Yates off the injured list ahead of Saturday afternoon's game versus the St. Louis Cardinals (35-28), per SportsNet LA's David Vassegh.

6/04/25 Michael Kopech, Kirby Yates could rejoin Dodgers' bullpen this weekend. A Dodgers' bullpen that has been decimated by injuries could get some much-needed reinforcements this weekend with the likely activations of veteran right-handers Michael Kopech and Kirby Yates. Kopech, who has been sidelined all season because of a shoulder impingement, and Yates, who went on the 15-day injured list because of a right hamstring strain on May 18, both threw 15-20 pitches to hitters in simulated innings before Wednesday night's game against the New York Mets. “Kirby was good – he threw strikes, did his usual thing and felt good coming out of it,” Manager Dave Roberts said. “Michael's stuff was good … we'll see how they feel [on Thursday], and we'll have a decision on this weekend.”

Mike Sirota provided all the offense Great Lakes needed, driving home two and scoring one in the Loons’ 3-2 victory over the West Michigan Whitecaps. After dominating the Low-A California League, Sirota’s fire has only grown hotter in his first six games with Great Lakes.

Added were right-handers J.P. Feyereisen and Ryan Loutos. Feyereisen, 32, returns to the Dodgers as a waiver claim from the Arizona Diamondbacks. After parts of three seasons split between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays, the right-hander signed with the Dodgers before the 2023 season then spent the year recovering from shoulder surgery. He made 10 appearances with the Dodgers last season (with an 8.18 ERA) and spent most of the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City.
