8/02/25 Report: Keenan Allen, Chargers have mutual interest in reunion. August 2 - Free-agent wide receiver Keenan Allen and the Los Angeles Chargers might be getting the band back together. NFL Network reported that there is a mutual interest in a reunion. Allen visited the Chargers on Friday, the day after their 34-7 victory over the Detroit Lions in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. Allen, 33, spent 11 seasons with the Chargers after being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The six-time Pro Bowl selection recorded 904 receptions for 10,530 yards and 59 touchdowns in 139 games (134 starts) for the team. Allen was then traded to Chicago in March 2024 for a fourth-round pick in that year's draft. He collected 70 catches for 744 yards

7/29/25 Los Angeles Chargers fans won't like this Keenan Allen prediction. Los Angeles Chargers fans have been yearning for a reunion with wide receiver Keenan Allen, who remains unsigned in free agency deep into the offseason. The Chargers attempted a different reunion with Mike Williams, but the veteran ultimately retired on the first day of training camp, leaving Los Angeles in a bit of a lurch. While the Chargers' rookie pass-catchers have been very impressive this summer, it obviously would strongly benefit Justin Herbert to have a more familiar, established option at his disposal, which is why Allen seems to make so much sense for Los Angeles.

7/28/25 Keenan Allen joining the 49ers makes almost too much sense. With their wide receiver room full of question marks, the 49ers could use a steady veteran. Keenan Allen might be the perfect late-offseason addition to boost San Francisco’s offense.

7/23/25 Patriots Possible Landing Spot for Pro-Bowl WR. The New England Patriots have certainly been very busy addressing their wide receiver room this offseason, adding several pass-catchers to their stable of weapons heading into 2025. As a result, some have wondered if New England could potentially pursue another option, and free-agent wide receiver Keenan Allen has been mentioned as a possible target for the Pats multiple times over the last few months. Allen still remains unsigned in free agency, and NFL insider Jordan Schultz has delivered an update on the six-time Pro Bowler, who seems to be evaluating his options.

7/23/25 NFL insider drops major Keenan Allen update for hopeful Chargers fans. Los Angeles Chargers fans have been clamoring for their team to sign Keenan Allen all offseason, and now, they are especially hungry for a reunion with the beloved wide receiver following Mike Williams' sudden retirement announcement. It has appeared that the Chargers have largely stayed away from Allen over the last several months, even though Allen was pretty productive with 70 receptions for 744 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2024 campaign with the Chicago Bears.

7/20/25 Keenan Allen is not the only former player Chargers should bring back to complete roster. The Los Angeles Chargers need to strongly consider a reunion with Keenan Allen and Asante Samuel Jr. before the start of the 2025 season.

7/19/25 Chargers legend brings up angry WR trade candidate after Mike Williams' retirement. Remember when the Los Angeles Chargers had a dynamic receiving duo? It wasn't very long ago, when the team employed Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Allen was traded to the Chicago Bears and Williams was released due to cap constraints last offseason. As it stands right now, Allen is still a free agent.

7/14/25 Patriots Urged to Pursue Exiled Former Steelers WR. The New England Patriots have already largely revamped their receiving corps this offseason, making numerous signings in free agency while also plucking a couple of rookies. While veterans such as Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper are probably seeking opportunities with contenders, there are some other intriguing options for the Pats to consider, and Michael DeVito of Musket Fire has revealed one in particular: former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Chase Claypool. Claypool has not played in the NFL since 2023, last appearing in a game with the Miami Dolphins.

7/13/25 NFL Analyst Suggests AFC Playoff Contender Make Move for Either Keenan Allen or Amari Cooper.

With both still available on the open market, one analyst argues Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper could elevate a playoff contender to the Super Bowl-level status.

7/12/25 Chargers should pursue the reunion that no fan seems to want. The Los Angeles Chargers didn't make a whole lot of big moves in free agency this offseason, which was certainly disappointing to fans hoping the Chargers would really flex their cap space. While many Chargers fans have been clamoring for the team to reunite with Keenan Allen (which Los Angeles refuses to do for some reason), there is another less-heralded player that LA should probably just re-sign at this point: cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. Samuel spent the first four years of his career with the Bolts and was a very productive member of their secondary.

7/03/25 Jim Harbaugh's seriousness about helping Justin Herbert questioned. The idea the Los Angeles Chargers should pull off a reunion with Keenan Allen isn't exactly a new one. Well before last season even ended, Chargers fans were eyeballing the idea because Allen was in the process of mostly flopping with the Chicago Bears, his first non-Chargers team as a pro. Allen seemed to hint at a return to the Chargers at one point, but that went up in flames a little bit when it was Mike Williams the team brought back in free agency before drafting Tre Harris in the second round.

6/29/25 Dolphins Sunday Mailbag: Tua, Tannehill, Keenan Allen, and More. Which Dolphins position groups will provide the most competition and keen interest during training camp? Hi Alain, hope you're well! Q: Do you believe Grier is expecting some training camp casualties to come in and play CB? Hey Mike, I'd still be inclined to believe the Dolphins will be signing a veteran cornerback at some point before or early in training camp, but we've also seen this team in recent years show more faith in their young unproven players than us on the outside believe is justified.

6/16/25 NFL free agency: Amari Cooper linked to Seahawks as most likely destination. With NFL training camps opening next month, there's still time for teams to scoop an experienced player that could add some proven depth to a position group. Late last week, Ezra Lombardi of The Lead gave his thoughts on where veteran free-agent wideouts Keenan Allen and Amari Cooper would play in 2025. As for the former, he believes that the best fit for Allen would be the Steelers, but he feels the productive pass-catcher will wind up returning to the Chargers.
