7/31/25 Patriots Named Best Fit For Three-Time Pro Bowl Free Agent. The New England Patriots are in the thick of training camp and multiple offseason acquisitions have already stood out. On offense, four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs has come as advertised thus far, while veteran linebacker Robert Spillane has reportedly shined on defense. NFL.com's Kevin Patra recently listed 10 “best team-free agent fits” leading into the 2025 campaign and tied New England to three-time Pro Bowl pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney.

7/31/25 Patriots news: Stefon Diggs reacts to possibly passing Antonio Brown. Stefon Diggs has never been short on talent or headlines. During a recent appearance on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, Diggs reacted to being just 72 receptions away from surpassing Antonio Brown for a spot in the top 25 on the NFL's all-time receptions list. While Diggs was quick to credit Brown's dominance, calling his stretch of seasons “insane” and “a blessing” to match, his milestone pursuit also reflects a larger narrative. Diggs is now expected to be more than just a top-tier playmaker.

7/31/25 Patriots Insider Unveils Stunning WR Prediction. The New England Patriots made their wide receiver room a major point of emphasis this offseason, adding several pieces in an attempt to bolster a unit that was the NFL's worst last year. The Patriots added Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins and third-round draft pick Kyle Williams, not to mention undrafted rookie Efton Chism III. As a result, the competition in training camp has been fierce. New England has 12 players competing for what most expect to be six or seven roster spots at the position, which means that a couple of bubble receivers may be looking for new homes before Week 1.

7/30/25 Cam Ward And Drake Maye Top 2025 Fantasy Football Breakout Quarterback List. Every year, there are a handful of breakout quarterbacks who help fantasy owners win championships. Maye certainly had his struggles as a rookie in 2024, but he also flashed the upside that made him the third-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The New England Patriots gave him very little to work with last year as far as weapons go, but that won't be the case in 2025. The Pats added Stefon Diggs, Kyle Williams, and TreVeyon Henderson this offseason.

7/29/25 Patriots rookie DB on receiving end of welcome to NFL moment from Stefon Diggs. Craig Woodson didn't necessarily call it a welcome-to-the-NFL moment, but getting burned by Stefon Diggs during Tuesday's padded practice is something he'll never forget from his rookie season. The safety, a fourth-round pick out of California, found himself needing to pick up Diggs on a crossing route down by the goal line. Diggs blew by him, going left-to-right on a crossing route, before hauling in Drake Maye's pass in the back right corner of the end zone during 11-on-11s. “Plays like that let me know I'm here, this is the NFL, everybody's good ... guys here are elite, so I've just got to be on my 'A' game.”

7/28/25 Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez exits 1st padded practice of training camp with lower body injury. Cornerback Christian Gonzalez left the Patriots' first full-pads practice of training camp on Monday with a lower body injury. Gonzalez limped off the field following a play during 11-on-11 drills in which he had been matched up with receiver Stefon Diggs. Gonzalez left the field under his own power, but was attended to by the training staff in an area adjacent to the field. Gonzalez earned second-team All-Pro honors last season.

7/28/25 Patriots Expecting Too Much From Offensive Rookie. The New England Patriots entered the offseason knowing full well that their receiving corps was the worst in the NFL last year, and while it took them some time to get going on addressing it, they did make a strong effort to repair the glaring problem. The Patriots signed both Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins in free agency, nabbed Kyle Williams in the third round of the NFL Draft and also picked up undrafted rookie Efton Chism III. While New England's wide receiver room is expected to be much improved heading into 2025, there is no doubt that the unit still faces some burning questions, and perhaps none are more pressing than the rookie Williams.

7/27/25 Patriots Rookie WR Praises All-Pro Teammate. New England Patriots rookie Kyle Williams is not only getting the chance to live his dream by becoming an NFL receiver, he is also playing alongside his gridiron idol. As he continues to raise eyebrows with his impressive play during training camp practices, Williams is also making every effort to absorb the wisdom and counsel of teammate Stefon Diggs — coincidentally, his favorite pro football player. Williams, a Maryland native, revealed to reporters on Saturday that he has been a fan of Diggs since the latter played his college football at the University of Maryland.

7/26/25 Hunter Henry, Stefon Diggs, and teammates participate as Patriots Foundation donates bikes to local youth in foster care. Not everyone can say that Stefon Diggs taught them how to ride a bike without training wheels, but that was the case for one special little girl on Friday. As is tradition, New England Patriots players and coaches wrapped up training camp practice and kept the cardio going, riding bicycles over to the tent where the Patriots Foundation hosts their guests. Teaming up with Dellbrook | JKS Construction, the team was able to donate 43 bikes to local kids in foster care as a complete surprise. The Patriots Foundation worked with non-profit organizations like the Wonderfund of Massachusetts, Boys Fund, and HopeWell, who all work to provide services and opportunities to children and families involved with fostering.

7/23/25 Stefon Diggs' Admission After First Patriots Practice Catches Attention. The New England Patriots took the field for their first training camp practice on Wednesday morning, and all eyes were on the team's new star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Everyone is curious to see how Diggs will fare in his return from a torn ACL, but after practice, Diggs admitted his biggest issue on Wednesday had nothing to do with his return from injury. The Patriots signed Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract in free agency this offseason, even though his 2024 campaign came to a premature end when he tore his ACL in Week 8 with the Houston Texans. In eight games last year, Diggs caught 47 passes for 496 yards and three touchdowns.

7/23/25 Patriots Star Gets Honest on Stefon Diggs' Health. When the New England Patriots signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract back in March, everyone knew it was a risk. New England tight end Hunter Henry provided a bit of an update on Diggs as the Pats opened training camp on Tuesday and dropped some rather encouraging news on the 31-year-old. “He's doing great, man,” Henry said, via Mike Kadlick of CLNS. Of course, that does not necessarily mean that Diggs will be prepared to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 7, but it does indicate that the former fifth-round pick has been looking good in offseason workouts.

7/23/25 Patriots CB Says Pressure is a Privilege. New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez is a firm believer in “iron sharpening iron.” Already considered among the NFL's best players at his position, the third-year defensive back is eager to put this famous proverb to the test during training camp. To do so, he must test himself against his most competitive teammates — receivers such as former All-Pro Stefon Diggs. Though it may be a daunting task, he remains cognizant of the responsibility which comes with such an esteemed reputation. “I feel like pressure is a privilege,” Gonzalez told reporters on Tuesday at Gillette Stadium.
