MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Trevor Megill struck out the side in the top of the 10th, and Jackson Chourio brought home placed runner Sal Frelick in the bottom of the frame to secure a 3-2 win and complete a series sweep of the NL West-leading LA Dodgers on Wednesday. Those 10th-inning heroics were made possible by former Chicago White Sox Anderw Vaughn, who brought home Issac Collins in the 9th to tie the game at 2. It was Vaughn's third appearance for the Crew since he was acquired from the South Siders for P Aaron Civale and immediately optioned to AAA Nashville. Milwaukee recalled him on July 7th. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Athletics put up a pair of 9th-inning runs, but Trevor Megill still managed to nail down his second save of the season in a 5-3 victory on Friday. Christian Yelich had a pair of run-scoring singles, bringing home Jackson Chourio in the 3rd and Brice Turang in the 5th. He also produced an RBI groundout in the 7th to score Caleb Durbin.
