7/28/25 Loaded with fantasy football talent? 6 Vikings make PFF's top 100. Gearing up for your fantasy football draft and you're not sure what to do with the Minnesota Vikings? It's a no-brainer to take wide receiver Justin Jefferson (if you're lucky enough to pick that high in your draft) — and that's still the case even though he's currently sidelined with what head coach Kevin O'Connell called a "very mild" hamstring strain. The Vikings fully expect Jefferson to be ready for Week 1 against the Chicago Bears, and they had no plans to play him in the preseason anyway. Well, Pro Football Focus released updated fantasy football rankings on Monday and six Vikings made it on the list of 200 players.

7/28/25 Vikings' HC Kevin O'Connell Drops Concerning Update About Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson is unarguably the face of the Minnesota Vikings entering the 2025 NFL season. The elite wide receiver led the team to a 14-3 record in the regular season, earning his fourth Pro Bowl in five years. The Vikings have strengthened their roster after an early exit at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams in the last postseason.

7/27/25 Justin Jefferson set to knock Randy Moss down a peg in the NFL record books in 2025. From the moment Justin Jefferson first stepped foot on the field for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, the LSU alum has been an absolute menace to defensive backs. As a rookie, the Louisiana native broke a pair of franchise records previously held by the legendary Randy Moss, setting new rookie marks for receptions (88) and receiving yards (1,400). Now, if one wanted to get overly technical, Jefferson actually took the top spot, as the record belonged to Bill Groman, who went for 1,463 yards in 1960 for the AFL's Houston Oilers.

7/25/25 Justin Jefferson injury update: Vikings star WR held out of practice with hamstring issue. The Vikings are playing it safe after star wideout Justin Jefferson left Thursday’s practice early with hamstring tightness. While an MRI revealed only a mild strain, Jefferson will be sidelined until next week at minimum. With Week 1 reportedly not in doubt, attention now shifts to how Minnesota manages his reps — and what it means for rookie QB J.J. McCarthy’s development.

7/24/25 Justin Jefferson dealing with minor leg tightness at Vikings camp. Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson sat out most of the team drills during Thursday's training camp practice with what he described afterwards as "a little bit of tightness" in his legs. Jefferson made a leaping catch on the sideline and went to the ground after some inadvertent contact with Jeff Okudah, who was covering him on the play. Of course, with the past recent injuries and the stuff that I have gone through before, just taking precaution and understanding that it's the second day of camp, not the 30th.

7/23/25 Justin Jefferson says four words that instantly electrify Vikings fans. On Tuesday, Justin Jefferson arrived at the TCO Performance Center for his sixth training camp with the Minnesota Vikings, and he didn't enter the building alone. Walking side by side with Jefferson was his tag-team partner on the field, fellow Vikings receiver Jordan Addison, who is entering his third season with the franchise. As the pair of talented pass-catchers entered Minnesota's practice facility, Jefferson repeated four words to fire up the fan base and remind everyone what sort of havoc he and Addison plan to wreak on the rest of the NFL during the upcoming season.

7/21/25 Vikings' sneaky offensive weapon may prove crucial coming off injury. The Vikings' top-two WR spots are set with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. 7/17/25 'It definitely needs to go into consideration': Justin Jefferson calls out NFL playoff seeding. It might not have mattered the way the Los Angeles Rams bullied Minnesota's offensive line, but perhaps home-field advantage would've changed the outcome of last season's wild-card playoff loss for the Vikings. Minnesota became the first 14-win team during the regular season to play on the road during the first round of the playoffs — and just the third 14-win team to play a road game at any point of the playoffs. Justin Jefferson was asked by Jason Fitz of Yahoo! Sports if he wants the NFL to change the rules to give the teams with the best records home-field advantage in the playoffs, regardless of whether or not they won a division title.

7/17/25 5 highest-paid Vikings players in 2025 (Justin Jefferson is lower than you think). When Justin Jefferson signed a four-year, $140 million extension with the Minnesota Vikings last summer, the $35 million average annual value of his contract made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Since then, of course, he's dropped to fifth on that list, as Ja'Marr Chase ($40.25 million), Myles Garrett ($40 million), Danielle Hunter ($35.6 million), and Maxx Crosby ($35.5 million) have all surpassed him. Make no mistake about it; Jefferson will be No. 1 for the three years that follow this one, which we'll explain in just a moment.

7/14/25 Garrett Wilson's blockbuster extension gives a boost to Terry McLaurin-Commanders contract talks. Gary Davenport of the Bleacher Report predicted this week that McLaurin will sign a four-year deal worth $124 million with $83.5 million in guarantees. Wilson's $32.5 million AAV, Justin Jefferson's $35 million AAV, and AJ Brown's $32 million AAV disrupt the WR market. McLaurin is on a $69.6 million deal ($23.2 million AAV) and is seeking an extension exceeding $30 million AAV, according to reports. Garrett Wilson's deal only strengthens McLaurin's case.
