7/31/25 | Miami Marlins All-Star Joins Exclusive List in Franchise History Books. Kyle Stowers was enjoying a solid breakout season at the plate through the first few months of the 2025 campaign. Stowers went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Wednesday's series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals, closing out the month on a low note. According to Underdog Fantasy's Justin Havens, Stowers is now one of five players in Marlins franchise history to post a 1.200 OPS or higher in a single calendar month, minimum 90 plate appearances. Gary Sheffield achieved the feat twice, Hanley Ramírez and Dan Uggla reached the threshold once apiece and Giancarlo Stanton broke into the club three separate times. 7/28/25 | Miami Marlins Unwilling to Trade Former Cardinal. The Miami Marlins traded for Kyle Stowers at last year's deadline, and that deal has certainly paid off for them. Because of his breakout season, many rumors have been circling around the internet about which contending team is going to pry him away from the Marlins at the MLB Trade Deadline. Now, we're not going to sit here and say we're familiar with the ins and outs of the Marlins thought process or anything, but we do want to go over one simple question: Should the Marlins trade him? A key insider has urged the Dodgers to go to the selling Miami Marlins and not only make a deal for a power bat, but to add a reliever as well, fortifying both sides of the ball ahead of the most important stretch of the season. Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller first linked left fielder Kyle Stowers to be acquired by the Dodgers as a replacement for Michael Conforto. 7/25/25 | Kyle Stowers homers, Otto Lopez hits tiebreaking double as Marlins beat Brewers 5-1. By ANDREW WAGNER Associated Press MILWAUKEE (AP) — All-Star Kyle Stowers hit his 23rd homer and Otto Lopez capped off a three-hit day with a tiebreaking double in the seventh inning to lead the Miami Marlins to a 5-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. Lopez's double against Rick Mears cleared the bases, although he only got credit for two RBIs because the third run scored on a fielding error by center fielder Blake Perkins. Aaron Ashby (1-1), who allowed the leadoff batter to reach on an infield single, took the loss. Jackson Chourio hit his 17th homer for the Brewers, extending his hitting streak to a career-best 18 games. He's batting .367 (26 for 71) with four homers and 16 RBIs Source: https://www.cbs58.com/news/kyle-stowers-homers-ott... |

7/23/25 | Royals Named Suitor in Stunning Potential Deadline Trade With Marlins. The Miami Marlins have actually been on quite the roll for the last month-plus, owning a record of 22-12 over their last 34 games to actually kind of insert themselves into the NL Wild Card hunt. Perhaps one of the most intriguing Marlins players that teams will surely be asking about between now and July 31 is All-Star outfielder Kyle Stowers, who Miami does not seem keen on moving. 7/22/25 | Marlins Budding Star Should Be Off-Limits At Trade Deadline. The Miami Marlins are in a prime position to be big sellers ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Peter Bendix should at least be listening to offers for every player on the roster, except one: Kyle Stowers. The All-Star outfielder has been one of the best stories in baseball this season, and we've reached the point where Stowers should simply be off-limits in any trade talks. Stowers has been on a special and historic run over the last week, hitting six home runs for a 1.240 SLG over his previous seven games. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/marlins/miami-marlins-buddi... |
7/22/25 | Reds Connected to Massive MLB Trade Deadline Move With Marlins. The Miami Marlins have plenty of assets that could potentially be on the move before the MLB trade deadline, although some of their pieces are certainly less desirable than others. Take outfielder Kyle Stowers, for example. Stowers just made the All-Star team in his first full big-league campaign and has been a revelation for the Marlins this season, slashing .295/.370/.564 with 22 home runs and 60 RBI over 363 plate appearances. Chances are, Stowers won't be moved before July 31, and it has already been reported that Miami essentially views him as untouchable. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/marlins/cincinnati-reds-tra... |
7/21/25 | Padres linked to Miami Marlins All-Star slugger. The San Diego Padres will likely be aggressive at this year's trade deadline. At 54-45, the Padres are well within reach of both the National League West division lead, and a top Wild Card spot. In need of outfield help, the Padres have been linked to Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers, who has broken out as a legitimate All-Star level bat. Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller detailed why he believes the Padres make sense for the Marlins' slugger. Source: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/san-diego-padr... |
7/19/25 | Miami Marlins Star Receives Conclusive Trade Deadline Update. Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers has been the subject of trade speculation in recent weeks, which seemed rather odd even with the Marlins expected to be sellers before the MLB trade deadline. Stowers just made the All-Star team this year, his first full big-league campaign. The 27-year-old is also under team control through 2029, so why exactly would the Marlins trade him again? Well, Marlins insider Craig Mish has put the kibosh on any potential chance that Stowers gets dealt, reporting that the slugger will not be getting moved before July 31.
