7/21/25 Blue Jays Reliever Brendon Little Has One of the Most Valuable Offerings in Baseball. The Toronto Blue Jays have surged to the top of the American League East because they are receiving contributions from players up and down their roster. Entering play on July 21, they have a 58-41 record, currently three games ahead of the New York Yankees in the AL East and only 1.5 games behind the Detroit Tigers for the best record in baseball. There are a lot of players who deserve credit for how well the team is playing, but one of the unsung heroes who is becoming a more household name is relief pitcher Brendon Little. A first-round pick in the 2017 MLB Draft of the Chicago Cubs out of State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota, he made his Major League debut on Aug. 30, 2022, and gave up three runs while recording only two outs.

6/07/25 How Has the Toronto Blue Jays Bullpen Been Driving Team's Incredible Success?. The Toronto Blue Jays have had a bit of a resurgence as of late, as they look to win their fourth straight game and their fourth straight series on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins. There have been plenty of contributing factors to their 34-29 record, but one of the most notable success stories for them has been their bullpen arms. Over the course of the season, there have been impressive showings from Brendon Little, Yariel Rodriguez, Yimi Garcia when healthy and more. With Garcia and Nick Sandlin both on the injured list alongside Ryan Burr, the team has had a few injuries cut into their relief core early on this season.

3/23/23 Ranking: The Cubs first round draft picks since 2013. The Chicago Cubs have used their first-round draft picks relatively well in the last decade, with some of them turning into cornerstone position players, and others being not-so-great pitching pickups. Let's look at how the Cubs drafted since 2013, and rank their 1st rounders based on performance for the team and future potential. Brendon Little was drafted by the Cubs with the 27th pick in the 2017 draft. The best season of Little's professional career was 2021, where he made 26 appearances and reached Triple-A Iowa with a 3.24 ERA and 53 strikeouts.

8/30/22 How an elbow injury and repertoire change led to former 1st-round pick Brendon Little's call up to the Chicago Cubs. Every year it seems like I’ve started on the injured list so that’s been a grind,” Little said. And I’ve changed a lot as a pitcher over the years, from four-seam up in the zone guy to now almost exclusively sinkers so just to know that all the changes I’ve made over the years have been panning out and are going to continue to play at the next level. It’s a little bit of validation for everything that’s been happening.

8/30/22 Cub Tracks scenes from a holdup. Tony Andracki (Marquee Sports Network*): Cubs will use Toronto as an opportunity to get a look at young pitchers. The Cubs are making the most of a tough situation. Bryan Smith (Bleacher Nation*): What to expect when you’re expecting Brendon Little and Jeremiah Estrada, two 2017 draft picks who have persevered.
