7/30/25 | NFL analyst picks which rookie edge will rise for the Panthers. This offseason, the Carolina Panthers were able to land three players over the first two nights of the 2025 NFL draft capable of making an immediate impact. Most of the attention has understandably been given to wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, their first round pick from Arizona. McMillan could be a perennial 1,000-yard receiver, but more importantly, might be exactly what Bryce Young needs to take his next step at quarterback. Carolina selected two EDGE rushers, taking Nic Scourton from Texas A&M at No. 51 overall and Princley Umanmielen from Ole Miss at No. 77. 7/26/25 | Carolina Panthers have 2 rookies, 2 vets in the mix for kickoff return duties. While their offense sputtered up until mid-November when Bryce Young returned to the lineup and their defense was putting in the worst season in NFL history, their special teams unit was also not doing anything special. Things were bad enough in this phase of the game for the front office to scrap the whole thing and start over from scratch for the 2025 season. According to The Athletic's Joe Person, four players are in the mix to take over in this department: rookies Jimmy Horn Jr. and Trevor Etienne and veterans Raheem Blackshear and Rico Dowdle. Blackshear has the most experience in this group and led the charge last season, but he didn't do anything worth writing home about. Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/carolina-panthers-... |

7/22/25 | Not so shocking prediction on why Carolina Panthers should be optimistic about 2025. Former University of Alabama quarterback and 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young was the Carolina Panthers' starter for 16 of the club's 17 games. In those 16 contests, Young connected on just 59.8 percent of his throws for 2,877 yards and 11 touchdowns, with 10 interceptions. Back in May, CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan put out a piece giving one reason for each of the 32 NFL teams to be optimistic following free agency and the NFL draft. Two months later, he has re-emphasized that same point in regards to the Panthers and why the team should be optimistic heading into 2025. 7/20/25 | Carolina Panthers RB projected to carry another heavy workload in 2025. Despite the fact that general manager Dan Morgan added a 1,000-yard runner in free agency, and another talented running back on Day 3 of April's draft, look for the NFL's eighth-leading rusher to be very involved in the Panthers' offense once again. 7/19/25 | Bryce Young shares what he's learned in journey from Mater Dei to Alabama to Carolina. Heading into his third season in the NFL, Bryce Young is fortunate to be in the position that he's in. Any number of things beyond his control could have derailed his career - especially after a rough rookie season and a brutally bad start to his second year in the league. The former No. 1 overall draft pick looked to be the most accomplished and highest-ceiling prospect at quarterback coming out of Alabama, but he hit some choppy waters in his first action with the Carolina Panthers. Meanwhile, the draft's second overall pick - Houston's C.J. Stroud put together one ofthe best rookie seasons any QB ever has at this level. 7/18/25 | ESPN NFL analyst predicts 'sneaky' big passing numbers from Bryce Young this year. Bryce Young made huge strides for the Carolina Panthers during his second season in the league, which was quite the surprise considering how poorly things started. Young, who struggled as a rookie, was benched by new head coach Dave Canales after just two weeks. It seemed they were ready to move on, but then Young got another chance. 7/18/25 | Panthers' Bryce Young among 5 NFL quarterbacks fighting for their future in 2025. After a disappointing start to his career and 2024 in particular, Bryce Young hit the bench. The Carolina Panthers QB looked as if he was done for in the NFL, but a return to the starting lineup after five on the bench saw him break out and look every part of a franchise QB. NFL media members, for some reason, still seem to disagree, including Sportsnaut's Mateo Bratt, who says Young is fighting for his NFL life this year. 7/14/25 | Late surge from Bryce Young was biggest leap any NFL QB has taken in 25 years. Dave Canales's squad looked like a different team the second half of 2024, and their young signal-caller was a major reason why. Douglas Clawson of CBS Sports spoke about Young's play in the team's final three outings. None of them saw a bigger performance leap (as measured by EPA per play) between the final three games and the rest of the season than Bryce Young in 2024.
