6/27/25 How Did Red Sox's Kyle Harrison Perform In First Outing Since Rafael Devers Trade?. Life must have been a whirlwind for new Boston Red Sox pitcher Kyle Harrison since arriving in the Jun. 15 trade with the San Francisco Giants for Rafael Devers. Harrison was a big-time prospect in San Francisco but after his up-and-down rookie season in 2024, he split his time between Triple-A and the majors earlier this season. Harrison threw four innings on Wednesday night for the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox in his organizational debut.

6/17/25 Washington Nationals May Have Missed Out on Rafael Devers Blockbuster Trade. The Washington Nationals are one of baseball's youngest teams, filled to the brim with young talent but still seemingly a ways away from competing as this season continues to be a slog. Time and time again, the formula has been for a young team to potentially add a star from the outside in order to mesh with the homegrown talent and take the organization to the next level. While this still could be the case for Washington, they have missed out on one potential option who seemingly had the chance to be the veteran boost they are clearly in desperate need of. Over the weekend, the Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants made a deal that was heard around all of baseball when Boston sent one of the most feared power hitters in the sport across the country to San Francisco in exchange for Kyle Harrison, Jordan Hicks, and two prospects.

5/30/25 Harrison, bullpen snap SF Giants' losing streak with win over Marlins. Kyle Harrison has created quite the conundrum for the Giants. Harrison turned in a fine start Friday night as San Francisco beat the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park, 2-0, tossing five scoreless innings with five strikeouts and allowing one lone hit. The command was a tad shaky, evidenced by three walks, but his four-seam fastball exhibited great life. Camilo Doval, pitching in front of his mother, Rosa, for the first time as a professional, recorded his first save as San Francisco's re-minted closer.

5/29/25 Giants in search of offense against error-prone Marlins. As the San Francisco Giants and Miami Marlins open a three-game series in Florida, one team struggling on offense will meet another having issues with their gloves. Giants left-hander Kyle Harrison (0-1, 3.86 ERA) and Marlins right-hander Cal Quantrill (3-4, 6.09 ERA) are the announced starters in hopes of more support than their teammates have provided in recent outings. Making his first start of the season, Harrison got no offensive backing in a 3-0 loss at Washington on Saturday.

5/04/25 SF Giants recall Kyle Harrison, designate veteran reliever for assignment. Kyle Harrison is coming back to the Giants' major-league club as they embark on a six-game Midwestern trip. The Giants recalled Harrison after Sunday's 9-3 win over the Rockies, designating Lou Trivino for assignment after he pitched a scoreless ninth. Harrison was the favorite to earn the Giants' fifth rotation spot in spring training, but lost out to Landen Roupp. The 23-year-old former De La Salle star has 38 strikeouts and just eight walks over 26 innings (six starts) at Triple-A Sacramento this season.

5/01/25 Can Kyle Harrison force the SF Giants' front office into a tough decision?. San Francisco Giants general manager Zack Minasian has been impressed with the seasons Kyle Harrison and Carson Whisenhunt have had thus far in Triple-A Sacramento. If both pitchers keep it up, they could force the Giants' front office into making a tough decision about bringing them to the big leagues. Minasian would like nothing more.
