7/22/25 Angels Top Prospect Pitcher Finally Making Return After a Month Out With Fatigue. Los Angeles Angels pitcher Caden Dana is set to return after missing a month of action due to fatigue issues. According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Dana is coming back to the Triple-A rotation this week for a scheduled start. At 21 years old, the Angels prioritized giving their young arm some rest instead of pushing him down in the minor leagues. Los Angeles took him in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB Draft, and he has quickly shot up the team's farm system, becoming the team's top pitching prospect in the system.

The Angels, against all expectations, are expected to be buyers this trade deadline, as they are just three games under .500 and 4.5 games out of the final AL Wild Card spot.

6/05/25 Angels reliever proving himself on the mound... and increasing trade value. This Angels reliever is proving himself on the mound and increasing his trade value By Vincent Page | Share on Facebook Share on X Copy Article Los Angeles Angels v Boston Red Sox | Michael Owens/GettyImages Share on Facebook Share on X Share on Reddit Copy Article The Angels' bullpen has been one of the worst units in all of baseball this season. They have given up leads, been inconsistent, and have had a constant churn of disappointing names. These names range from top prospects like Caden Dana - who has consistently been yanked from his development to do so - to veterans like Michael Derrell-Hicks. All in all, the search for reliable relievers has been harder than expected this season. Nevertheless,

5/24/25 Angels Calling Up Top Prospect Ahead of Saturday's Game vs Marlins. The Los Angeles Angels have called up right-hander Caden Dana. Per the Orange Country Register's Jeff Fletcher, he will be taking Shaun Anderson's spot and will take on a role in the bullpen. Dana finished the 2024 campaign with a dominant 2.52 ERA across 23 starts in Double-A. He threw 147 strikeouts to 39 walks over 135.2 innings. This season saw his ERA rise in Triple-A as he currently has a 5.21 mark, but at just 21 years old and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 2.65 in Salt Lake, there is no telling what his ceiling can be with the Halos.
