7/31/25 Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi caps historic July with impressive career milestone. Nathan Eovaldi is certainly doing everything in his power to will the Texas Rangers, the 2023 World Series champion, back to the postseason. In the month of July, Eovaldi has pitched on an entirely different playing field, and on Wednesday, his hot streak continued with a dominant start in a 6-3 win for the Rangers over the Angels. On Wednesday, Eovaldi pitched seven innings and allowed just one earned run while striking out four (against six hits and two walks allowed). While it wasn't the best start in the world, the fact that Eovaldi was very efficient with his pitches, lasting seven innings with just 92 pitches thrown, makes him so valuable for the Rangers.

7/28/25 Why aren't Rangers moving Nathan Eovaldi's next start to ever-important Mariners series?. Nathan Eovaldi has established himself as the pitcher the Rangers want in the biggest of games. Eovaldi's next scheduled start is Wednesday to conclude the series with the Los Angeles Angels. There has been some discussion about potentially moving Eovaldi back a day to open the series at Seattle on Thursday, but manager Bruce Bochy has a good reason against manipulating the rotation.

7/27/25 Former Braves All-Star Could be Great Option to Help Rangers Offensively. The Texas Rangers are starting to heat up at the right time with the team now comfortably over the .500 mark. With the trade deadline just a few days away, the current state of the Rangers should be to buy and try to improve the team. Texas had had to deal with injuries and a lot of ineffective performances from their offense for much of the season. The Rangers have been led mostly by their starting rotation, with Nathan Eovaldi and Jacob deGrom both having excellent years.

7/26/25 Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi gets brutally honest after defeating Braves. With some arguing that Texas Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi should've been an All-Star, he proved it once again on Friday night in an impressive showcase in the team's 8-3 win over the Atlanta Braves. As fans predict the activity level for the Rangers ahead of the trade deadline, Eovaldi first spoke about his outing against the Braves and was 100 percent candid in his thoughts. Eovaldi has continued the recent success that Texas has sustained after the All-Star break, marking Friday's win as the sixth in the last seven games after a disappointing start to the season.

Good question. Two ace-caliber arms in Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi help. Two high-profile rookies that've shown flashes of upside in Kumar Rocker and Jack Leiter do too. 7/23/25 Jeff Passan names former 40-homer slugger as 'best fit' for surging Rangers. After stumbling through the first half of the Major League Baseball season, the Texas Rangers are beginning to resemble the team that many predicted would represent the American League in the World Series. Since bottoming out at 29-35 on June 6, the Rangers have gone 23-15 to surge within 1.5 games of the final Wild Card spot. A rotation headlined by ageless veterans Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi has been among the league's best, while the return of superstar shortstop Corey Seager has reinvigorated a dormant offense. The club's potential was on full display this past weekend when they took two out of three from the American League-leading Detroit Tigers, allowing just three total runs in the process.

7/18/25 Red Sox Rumors: Reunion With World Series Champion Not 'In Play'. The Boston Red Sox could scour the trade market for pitching help before MLB's trade deadline, but one prominent ace is reportedly off the table. If the Texas Rangers decide to sell, Nathan Eovaldi would represent a sensible target capable of making a significant impact. After all, the two-time All-Star won a World Series during his five seasons in Boston. ESPN's Buster Olney said that Eovaldi and fellow Rangers ace Jacob deGrom are “not considered to be in play” on the trade market.
