4/17/25 | Former Minnesota baseball player Nick Gordon makes return to Twin Cities. It's been a while since Nick Gordon made a mark with the Minnesota Twins, but he returned to the Twin Cities last week. Gordon, 29, was Minnesota's first-round pick in 2014 and came up in the Twins organization. After one season in Miami, he signed with Baltimore. 4/05/25 | Royals acquire INF/OF Nick Gordon from Orioles. The Kansas City Royals acquired infielder/outfielder Nick Gordon from the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday for cash considerations. Gordon, who signed a minor league deal with the Orioles in the offseason, was 4-for-13 in four games at Triple-A Norfolk. The 29-year-old Gordon has played in the major leagues in each of the four previous seasons, batting .244 with 23 home runs and 112 RBIs in 338 games for the Minnesota Twins (2021-23) and Miami Marlins (2024). 4/05/25 | Orioles, Royals make trade before head-to-head matchup. The Baltimore Orioles are playing the Kansas City Royals on Saturday. The Royals and Orioles also made a trade on Saturday before their head-to-head matchup, per Robert Murray of Fansided. “Trade: The Kansas City Royals are acquiring Nick Gordon from the Baltimore Orioles, sources say. Gordon, who was in Triple-A with the Orioles, has hit .244/.283/.386 with 23 home runs and 112 RBI in four major-league seasons,” Murray wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
