7/05/25 New York Mets re-sign lefty reliever to minor league deal. The New York Mets have reunited with another left-handed reliever. On Friday evening, The Athletic's Will Sammon reported that the Mets had signed Colin Poche to a minor league deal. The veteran southpaw was on the club's major league roster less than a week ago but was designated for assignment before electing free agency. Poche, 31, has pitched for three teams in parts of five major league seasons.

6/09/25 Washington Nationals Veteran Pitcher Could Be MLB Trade Deadline Target if Healthy. The Washington Nationals have been a scrappy team during the 2025 MLB regular season, overcoming some obstacles to remain competitive. All three relief pitchers who were signed in the offseason, Colin Poche, Lucas Sims and Jorge Loepz, have been released for underwhelming production on the mound.

6/05/25 Nationals Will Get Major Boost Once This Star Reliever Returns. Coming into the season, the Washington Nationals tried to make some tweaks to their bullpen after a showing in 2024 where that unit finished 21st in Major League Baseball with a 4.14 ERA. Unfortunately, the other arms the Nationals added this past winter to reshape the relief staff turned out to be a disaster, with Colin Poche and Lucas Sims getting designated for assignment and released based on how poor they were to begin the year. Washington has not stopped tinkering since they still own the second-worst bullpen ERA in the MLB despite that unit playing better as of late.

5/11/25 MACK - Poche, Senga, Wenninger, Chain Position Analysis - Relief Pitching (1 OF 3). The Mets signed LHRP Colin Poche and assigned him to AAA-Syracuse. Jack Wenninger (NYM) has been on a tear this season with a 34.7 K% and his changeup is a huge reason why. Its site sits in the mid 80s and its late diving action and vertical separation from his fastball push it to plus-plus territory.

5/08/25 Mets add lefty reliever depth to address bullpen need. The Mets have added some non-roster reinforcement to their bullpen. The team announced on Wednesday that they have signed left-hander Colin Poche to a minor league deal. Poche, 31, signed a minor league deal with the Nationals and made the Opening Day roster, but struggled in his big league appearances. Over 8 1/3 innings, he posted a 11.42 ERA and walked 12 batters.
