8/01/25 Brewers' William Contreras set Milwaukee-best mark vs. Nationals. On Friday, William Contreras delivered a historic performance as the Milwaukee Brewers steamrolled the Washington Nationals 16-9 at Nationals Park, backed by a season-high 25-hit offensive explosion. Contreras went 5-for-7 with a home run, a double, and two RBIs, becoming the first Brewer to tally five hits in a game this season and tying his career high, according to StatMuse. Contreras' homer in the seventh inning was a 104.4 mph laser to left, his 10th hard-hit ball (95+ mph exit velocity) in his last 11 swings. His fifth hit, a 102 mph double in the eighth, was followed by Andrew Vaughn's sixth home run in 17 games, ending another five-run inning, Milwaukee's third of the night. Contreras

7/29/25 Brewers Cut Ties 8-Year Veteran, Open Up About Tough Choice. The Milwaukee Brewers made a move on Monday to help improve the team's depth ahead of the 2025 Major League Baseball trade deadline. There has been a question throughout the season about the team's catching depth behind William Contreras. The Brewers went out and acquired veteran backstop Danny Jansen to help with this. In the process, the Brewers designated veteran catcher Eric Haase for assignment, as shared by Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

7/08/25 Brewers Trade Hypothetical Lands Braves' Ronald Acuña Jr. For 5-Player Package. The idea of the Milwaukee Brewers trading for a superstar to anchor their lineup is admittedly enticing. For the last couple of seasons, the Brewers have been an offense worth more than the sum of their parts. Sure, there have been standout performances at times from William Contreras and Jackson Chourio, but in general, the Brewers need a full team effort to win most nights. A game-changer like Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves would make the Brewers a formidable force in the National League.
