7/03/25 Former Padres Pitcher Elects to Leave Phillies, Head to Free Agency. Former San Diego Padres relief pitcher Nabil Crismatt exercised a release clause in his minor league contract with the Philadelphia Phillies and is a free agent, per Jon Heyman. Crismatt played for the Padres from 2021-23, making 102 appearances for the club before he was designated for assignment and elected free agency.

Behind an offensive surge and a stellar start from Joander Suarez, the Syracuse Mets beat the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 7-6, on a rainy Saturday night at NBT Bank Stadium. After a one-hour rain delay, Syracuse didn't miss a beat in the bottom of the first inning. The Mets put up six runs on IronPigs starter Nabil Crismatt. The inning began with a single from Gilberto Celestino, and the lineup kept rolling from there.

Spring training is finally here, with the Phillies kicking off their Grapefruit League schedule Saturday afternoon against the Detroit Tigers. The game won't air on NBC Sports Philadelphia, MLB Network, or anywhere else, but you can follow the Phillies' 2025 spring training debut on 94.1 WIP beginning at 1:05 p.m. Saturday. Nabil Crismatt, a right-handed reliever invited to camp on a minor-league contract, will get the start for the Phillies.
