7/17/25 | Guardians could survey trade options for high-leverage relief pitcher. TSN’s Allan Perkins believes that Hunter Gaddis could be a target for the Toronto Blue Jays Source: https://sports.yahoo.com/article/guardians-could-s... |
7/17/25 | Guardians, Blue Jays Linked to Trade Deadline Move for Star Pitcher. The Cleveland Guardians have quite a few pieces that could be for sale between now and the MLB trade deadline, and the Toronto Blue Jays could be interested. Allan Perkins of TSN has suggested that the Blue Jays pursue a trade for Guardians relief pitcher Hunter Gaddis before July 31, citing Toronto's need for bullpen help. Gaddis was a dynamo last season, pitching to the tune of a 1.57 ERA while allowing just 43 hits and registering 66 strikeouts over 74.2 innings of work. There definitely exists a world in which Cleveland moves Gaddis, especially if it decides to hold on to Emmanuel Clase and Cade Smith. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/guardians/news/cleveland-gu... |
7/10/25 | Bullpen Plan B works just fine in sweep of Astros: Guardians breakfast today. Especially on nights like Wednesday when the Guardians' bullpen was stretched thin by too much work. Hunter Gaddis, Cade Smith and Emmanel Clase were not available in the season finale against the Astros. Tim Herrin, the other member of the big four, was optioned to Triple-A Columbus before the game. It's an unsettling position to be in if you're Stephen Vogt, manager of the Guardians. 6/29/25 | Cards complete 3-game sweep of Guardians with 7-0 victory. Gorman went deep in the first inning off Logan Allen (5-6), while Scott homered off Hunter Gaddis in the seventh to extend the Cardinals' lead to 5-0. Pedro Pagés and Garrett Hampson added RBIs in the eighth. St. Louis has won six straight on the road, its longest run under fourth-year manager Oliver Marmol. The Cardinals completed their initial series sweep of Cleveland by a 21-6 margin in the three-game set. Source: https://westkentuckystar.com/Sports/Cards-complete... |
