Diekman, who pitched for the New York Mets in 2024, has decided to pitch for the independent league's Lincoln Saltdogs, the team announced on April 22. “Pitch in front of my family, my friends, people who haven't really watched me pitch in a while,” Diekman, a Nebraska native, told 10/11 News recently.
