MLB insider Robert Murray reported that Joe Kelly will workout for the Dodgers soon in the interest of coming back. Kelly was a part of the Dodgers' World Series champions in 2020 and 2024. 6/30/25 | Former Red Sox Pitcher Assaulted At Little League Game. Former Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Joe Kelly has been making the media rounds again lately as the 2018 World Series champion and 13-year MLB veteran contemplates a Major League comeback. Kelly was a recent guest on the Foul Territory podcast and spoke about his desire to rejoin the Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen later this summer. 6/29/25 | 2018 Red Sox champion only wants to play for 1 team if he returns to MLB. Joe Kelly's MLB future is unknown. “I made it known, which people would say is bad for marketing, but I couldn't give a crap,” the former Boston Red Sox pitcher said recently on “Foul Territory.” “If I come back healthy, I'm only playing for one team, and that's the Dodgers.” Kelly played for the Dodgers in 2023 and 2024 — his second stint with the organization — but didn't re-sign with the team in the offseason. A shoulder injury, however, prevented the right-hander from pitching in the Dodgers' postseason run en route to a World Series win over the New York Yankees. 6/27/25 | Former Dodgers Fan Favorite Calls 2024 World Series Complete Mismatch With Yankees. Former Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly may not be signed to a team this season, but he's made it clear where his loyalties lie. Kelly didn't pitch in the postseason after being sidelined by injury, but that didn't stop him from explaining why he believes the 2024 World Series between the Dodgers and New York Yankees was a complete mismatch in a recent appearance on Foul Territory. "I thought it was the same thing as the 2018 World Series when I was on the Red Sox," Kelly said. Source: https://www.si.com/mlb/dodgers/news/former-dodgers... |
