Pete Alonso (1B - BAL)

12/14/25 7:57 AM -
O's Elias: Alonso 'the right player' to sign long term. The Orioles introduced Pete Alonso on Friday at Camden Yards after reaching a five-year, $155 million deal that dwarfed Baltimore's other signings over the past several years, when the team stuck mostly to short-term deals.

Walker Jenkins (OF - MIN)

12/14/25 1:00 AM -
Minnesota Twins Top 10 Prospects For 2026 Fantasy Baseball.
1. OF Walker Jenkins | 21 | AAA | 2026
The sixth overall pick in the stacked 2023 class, Jenkins is a left-handed hitter with power and plate skills listed at 6’3” 210 pounds, but as I say all the time around here, those measurements look a little out of date. He’s dealt with some injuries that have cost him reps but steadily climbed the organization ladder nonetheless, closing out 2025 with 23 games in Triple-A. In 84 games across four levels, he slashed .286/.399/.451 with ten home runs and 17 stolen bases. It’s tough to predict how the team will handle his timeline. They seem to go back and forth on trading Joe Ryan every other day. If they keep him, Jenkins could be up early. If they move him this winter, I’d bet they’ll slow-play their season in general.

Jorge Polanco (DH/2B - SEA)

12/13/25 12:57 PM -
Mets reach 2-year deal with infielder Jorge Polanco after losing Pete Alonso, AP source says. A person with knowledge of the agreement says the New York Mets have agreed to a two-year deal with veteran infielder Jorge Polanco. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the deal wasn’t announced and was pending a physical. Polanco hit .265 with 26 home runs and 78 RBIs this year for the Seattle Mariners. It was the 32-year-old’s second season with Seattle after a decade with the Minnesota Twins. Polanco’s arrival comes after the departures of outfielder Brandon Nimmo, closer Edwin Díaz and first baseman Pete Alonso left New York without three of its fan favorites.
