6/14/25 Minnesota Twins lose to Houston Astros when Jhoan Duran gives up walk-off run. Two innings later, Brown made a similar mistake. After Carlos Correa led off with a single up the middle, Brown started Brooks Lee with a high cutter. Lee was ready for it, and hit a high fly ball that carried into the Crawford boxes in left field. It was Lee's second career home run off Brown — he hit his first career homer last July against the Astros star righthander.

6/11/25 Is Houston Astros Star Jeremy Peña Best Shortstop in MLB Right Now?. Houston Astros fans could have been forgiven if their expectations for the performance of shortstop Jeremy Peña had fallen a bit heading into the 2025 campaign. After a breakout rookie 2022 season in which he replaced Carlos Correa, posted a 5.0-bWAR in the regular season and went on to win the Most Valuable Player honors in both the American League Championship Series and the World Series, Peña looked destined for stardom. Peña replaced Correa in 2022.

5/31/25 Twins come back to oust Mariners in 'one of the best wins' in recent memory. SEATTLE — Maybe it was the result of adjustments he made in the batting cages in recent days that Carlos Correa referenced. Maybe it really was the power of his positive thinking, as he believed. But either way, Willi Castro was well aware of the fact that Mariners closer Andrés Muñoz had yet to allow a run, and told himself that he would be the one to change that. ADVERTISEMENT And with two outs in the ninth inning, down three runs, he did. Castro's two-run home run off Muñoz, his second long ball of the night, brought the Twins back to within a run. A couple of batters later, the Twins had tied it, using hits from Byron Buxton, fresh off the injured list, and Trevor Larnach, who finished with

4/24/25 Twins star Carlos Correa says his swing 'sucks' amid struggles. The Minnesota Twins shortstop gave an unfiltered assessment of his swing this week, bluntly stating, “I'm dealing with my swing sucks now,” via Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Despite feeling physically healthy, Correa admitted the results haven't been what he or the Twins expected. Frustration is building, but the former All-Star remains focused on the process rather than panicking as he works through mechanical adjustments with the coaching staff.
