2/29/24 | Former Panthers receiver Cotchery named head coach at SC university. Jerricho Cotchery has become the latest former Carolina Panthers player to join the head-coaching ranks, earning the top job at Limestone University in Spartanburg. Cotchery spent 12 seasons in the NFL, including his final two with the Panthers, after being drafted out of NC State in the fourth round of the 2004 draft. The 41-year-old is one of two players to have two 1,000-yard seasons for the Wolfpack, and was named to the All-ACC team in both 2002 and 2003. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers interviewed longtime NFL wideout Jerricho Cotchery last week.
