12/23/24 Zay Flowers Sidelined As Ravens Prepare for Texans. Reporters saw Flowers with his arm in a sling in the locker room Sunday, but Head Coach John Harbaugh said he's "pretty optimistic" about his availability. Fellow wide receiver Nelson Agholor is still not back on the practice field after suffering a concussion in the Ravens' Dec. 15 game against the Giants. Running back Justice Hill is not practicing after leaving Saturday's game against the Steelers with a concussion and it would be tough for him to play on a short week. Keaton Mitchell could be active for the first time in weeks as a backup, along with Rasheen Ali, to Derrick Henry.

12/17/24 Ravens WR Nelson Agholor in concussion protocol; 6 Steelers starters absent Tuesday. The Ravens continue to have an uncommonly clean sheet of health for mid-December. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor was Baltimore's lone surprise nonparticipant. 11/12/24 Nigeria's Madubuike will haunt Joe Burrow's dreams for a while. Madubuike, who was born in Dallas, Texas to Nigerian parents, got this season off to a relatively slow start, but if he had any pent up frustration, then Burrow bore the brunt of it on Thursday night as Madubuike's performance was arguably the difference between victory and defeat. Elsewhere in the league, there were strong performances from other players of African descent in week 10 - among them Nelson Agholor, Foye Oluokun, Alvin Kamara, Ugo Amadi, Kwity Paye and Chuba Hubbard.

4/15/24 Ranking Howie Roseman's drafts from best to worst. Next week, Howie Roseman will oversee his 14 th draft as Eagles general manager, and the first 13 have ranged from brilliant to disastrous. Roseman has drafted 105 players, ranging from a 1 st -ballot Hall of Fame center to a 1 st -round edge rusher that never started a game in the NFL. During a recent Eagle Eye podcast, Dave Zangaro and I decided to rank each of Roseman's first 13 drafts from best to worst, and this is what we came up with. Remember, Roseman wasn't in charge of the 2015 draft, which produced Nelson Agholor and Jordan Hicks. Head coach Chip Kelly served as de facto GM in 2015 before owner Jeff Lurie fired Kelly and restored Roseman's control over personnel. Get Philly local news,

2/20/24 OTL: Do the Ravens Need More at WR?.

Over the weekend, news broke that Nelson Agholor inked a one-year extension, and our skipper touched on it in yesterday’s Out to Lunch piece. Oh Nelly! 2/19/24 Oh Nelly!.

The Ravens have extended Nelson Agholor for another year and the deal allows the Ravens to avoid a cap hit of $1.688M that would have hit their book by 4PM today had the extension not been reached. 1/25/24 Here are some free agent receivers the Patriots could "burn some cash on". With a bunch of money to spend this offseason, Jerod Mayo made it clear in no uncertain terms that the Patriots will be active on the free-agent front this offseason. As Mayo put it, New England is ready to "burn some cash" this winter. Bill Belichick's spending binge in 2021 brought Matthew Judon to town, and he's awesome, but the team also overspent on guys like Nelson Agholor, Jonnu Smith, and Jalen Mills with very little payoff.

With 66,015 fans raging above him and Bengals cornerback Chidobe Awuzie in hot pursuit, Agholor torqued to the right so Lamar Jackson's impeccable spiral would drop neatly over his outside shoulder for a touchdown.
