2/12/25 Bolles takes side job as Legend High School football team's director of player development. Even though Garett Bolles has a $22 million a year day job that millions of husky kids can only dream of, the Broncos' left tackle decided to take on a side gig. Bolles is the new director of player development for the Legend High School football team and new head coach Jake Heaps, the Titans' program announced Wednesday. It's a volunteer position where Bolles -- who overcame a troubled childhood to become an NFL player so good, his Broncos recently gave him a four-year, $88 million contract extension -- will mentor and counsel the Titans players on football and life.

7/22/22 Broncos training camp preview: Will Russell Wilson be worth at least 3 more wins?. But after surrendering so many top-round draft picks to acquire the Pro Bowl likes of Stafford, Von Miller and Jalen Ramsey, the Rams captured their first Super Bowl for the city of Los Angeles last season. Video above: Meet Jake Heaps, Russell Wilson's personal QB coach In Russell Wilson, the Broncos took a short cut. Denver general manager George Paton spent 14 years in Minnesota trying to help Rick Spielman build a Super Bowl champion the right way.

Video above: Meet Jake Heaps, Russell Wilson's personal QB coach Sutton, a second-round draft pick out of Southern Methodist, had a big season in his second year of 2019 when he had 72 catches for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns. One of his best games that year was against Paton's Minnesota Vikings when Sutton caught 5 passes for 113 yards, plus threw a 38-yard completion to his good friend Patrick.

6/15/22 Seattle Sports' Jake Heaps announces departure from Jake & Stacy show. After four years with Seattle Sports, Jake Heaps will be entering a new chapter in his career. Heaps, who has co-hosted Jake and Stacy with Stacy Rost on Seattle Sports Station 710 AM, announced Wednesday that he will be leaving the show to pursue a once in a lifetime opportunity to be Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson’s full-time personal QB coach. You can watch Heaps’ announcement in the video embedded at the top of this post.

5/20/22 Seahawks' plan for DBs to be more aggressive could pay off quick. The Seahawks will roll out a new-look defense in 2022 under Clint Hurtt, who was promoted to defensive coordinator this offseason, and it will feature a change for their defensive backs that former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps is especially excited about. Hurtt joined Seattle Sports’ Mike Salk Show this week and detailed the team’s adjustment from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 scheme, including some changes to the team’s zone coverage in the secondary, as well.

5/17/22 Seahawks Free Agency: Heaps on OLs, DLs who could help in 2022. The Seahawks’ roster appears mostly set heading into the 2022 season, but could more help be on the way? Seattle addressed many positions of need in last month’s draft, but former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps thinks that there are players still available on the free agent market who the Seahawks should consider adding to fortify the trenches. Here’s what he had to say about some offensive and defensive linemen during Tuesday’s Jake and Stacy on Seattle Sports 710 AM.

5/04/22 Heaps: Seahawks' draft haul shows commitment to philosophy. The Seahawks used the 2022 NFL Draft to load up on both sides of the ball with their nine-man class. Seattle added two offensive tackles, two receivers and a running back on offense while selecting two pass rushers and two cornerbacks on defense. Former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps said the Seahawks’ nine selections sent a clear message.

4/24/22 Seahawks Draft: UNC QB Sam Howell could be intriguing on Day 2. But they aren’t the only quarterbacks the Seahawks could take in the top three rounds, and Rost mentioned that some Seahawks fans repeatedly bring up another name on the text line when QBs in the draft are discussed. Rost’s co-host, former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps, also finds that fourth QB to be an intriguing prospect. Sam Howell of North Carolina is that player, and Heaps believes the Seahawks could be interested in taking him on Day 2 after his draft stock has slipped.

4/23/22 Heaps: Two scenarios for Seahawks to trade back into 1st round. Former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps thinks that could be in play, but he also thinks the Seahawks could be aggressive and trade up. Just not from No. Because the Seahawks have those two second-round picks, Heaps thinks Seattle could trade back into the first round to pick someone they really like.

4/21/22 Heaps: What Seahawks should do in 1st round if top DEs are off the board. While that’s certainly encouraging in the sense that the Seahawks can acquire one of the draft’s top prospects, there’s some doubt that Seattle can get one of the top players at the team’s two biggest areas of need. FOX Sports football analyst Brock Huard said last week that the Seahawks’ two top needs are offensive tackle and edge rusher. Fellow former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps agrees.

3/21/22 Heaps: How blockbuster WR trade impacts Seahawks, DK Metcalf. Former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps broke it down Friday on Seattle Sports’ Jake and Stacy. Well, what it means is that DK Metcalf is going to get paid. Without a doubt, he will firmly have a $20-plus million dollar contract,” Heaps said.

3/07/22 Heaps: Seahawks can add 'Day 1 starters' to D-line, O-line with 1st 2 picks. We’re less than two months away from the 2022 NFL Draft and the Seahawks and the rest of the football world were focused on the upcoming draft class as the NFL Scouting Combine wrapped up over the weekend. While it’s unclear what roster moves the Seahawks will make in free agency and in trades prior to the start of the draft, former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps believes Seattle is in good shape to land immediate contributors to the roster at key areas of need despite not having a first-round pick.

3/04/22 Heaps: The mistake the Seahawks can't afford to make this offseason. Former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps said earlier this week that he thinks the Seahawks should bring back their entire secondary from 2021 for the 2022 season. Let’s just say that he doesn’t feel the same way when it comes to the offensive line. What they cannot afford to do in my opinion is to stay status quo with the offensive line and to treat it the same way in which they have done in the past.

3/03/22 Heaps: Why Seahawks won't have any outside additions in the secondary. When looking at the positions the Seahawks need to address this offseason, the top three that typically come up are offensive line, defensive end and cornerback. But former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps doesn’t think the Seahawks need to bring in any new faces at cornerback, or in the secondary in general this offseason. I don’t think there’s gonna be any outside additions in the secondary at all,” Heaps said on 710 ESPN Seattle’s Jake and Stacy on Wednesday.

2/23/22 Heaps: Seahawks' pass rush will improve because of Darrell Taylor. With a full season under his belt and his potential on full display in 2021, Taylor is someone who former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps is very excited to see take the field in 2022. I am anxious to see the pass rush improve, and a big reason why I believe it will improve is because of Darrell Taylor,” Heaps said Wednesday on 710 ESPN Seattle’s Jake and Stacy.

2/19/22 Heaps: Why Seahawks should extend Wagner and Wilson this offseason. But former NFL quarterback Jake Heaps has a “surprising” offseason move he thinks the Seahawks should do. While the move Heaps wants to see could ultimately impact those three position groups, it doesn’t directly impact them from the start. He explained what he wants the team to do during 710 ESPN Seattle’s Jake and Stacy on Wednesday.

2/19/22 Pre-Snap Reads 2/19: Hurtt hiring represents fundamental change for Seahawks. Carroll empowering Seahawks' defensive coaches is 'nothing but positive' - 710 ESPN Seattle New Seahawks DC Clint Hurtt made it clear Pete Carroll is giving him autonomy.
