As the San Francisco 49ers close out the 2025 preseason on Saturday against the Los Angeles Chargers in Santa Clara, they'll be without backup quarterback Mac Jones. San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said in Tuesday's presser that Jones suffered a sprained knee last week in the 22-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
