When Tutu Atwell spoke to his agent after the 2024 season came to an end, the pending-free agent receiver made clear that his priority was to return to the Rams, the team that took him in the second round of the 2021 draft. Atwell re-signed with the Rams, agreeing to a one-year deal worth $10 million, a contract that would indicate that the coaching staff has bigger plans in store for the speedy receiver in 2025. Atwell said the Rams did not propose the one-year structure, but rather he and his agent decided to go that route in a bet on himself to improve his standing a year from now. Receiver Tutu Atwell has agreed to return to the Los Angeles Rams on a one-year deal for $10 million, according to reports from ESPN. Atwell has 99 receptions for 1,343 yards and four touchdowns in his four years with the Rams, who drafted him out of Louisville in the second round in 2021. Atwell started 14 games in 2023, but he has otherwise struggled to get consistent playing time among the Rams' top three receivers despite contributing consistently whenever he was healthy. Atwell, the Rams' fourth-year receiver, is looking to return kicks again amid the changes to the NFL's kickoff rules.
