| 9/09/25 | Patriots WR's Stock Rises Despite Loss to Raiders. New England Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte entered Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season intent on making the most of his time on the field. While New England's offense was largely devoid of bright spots in their 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Boutte certainly maximized his position-leading 58 snaps. Boutte caught six passes for a career-high 103 yards — his longest reception coming on a 24-yard connection with quarterback Drake Maye in the first quarter, helping to set up the Pats' only touchdown. Boutte's performance clearly impressed Pats Nation, as the former LSU standout became the first Patriots' player to earn a 100-yards-receiving game on opening day since tight end Rob Gronkowski logged seven receptions for 123 yards in a Sept. 2018 matchup vs. the Houston Texans. | 9/07/25 | Patriots WR bounces back after taking nasty hit vs. Raiders. Kayshon Boutte made a big play early in the Patriots season opener, but paid the price for it, absorbing a wicked hit in the first quarter. The third-year wide receiver caught a 24-yard pass to move the chains on a third-and-10, but as Boutte ran back across the middle of the field, he was walloped by Raiders defender Devin White. The wideout never seemed appeared to see the linebacker pursuing him from behind and hit the turf hard. Boutte stayed down on the field for a spell and walked off slowly flanked by Patriots medical personnel. Source: https://www.masslive.com/patriots/2025/09/patriots... |

| 8/16/25 | Game Notes: Chism III Leads the Team in Receiving for Second-Straight Week. GAME CAPTAINS WR Kayshon Boutte, CB Marcus Jones, LB Harold Landry III, QB Drake Maye and S Brenden Schooler served as game captains. DUGGER PICK SECURES THE WIN S Kyle Dugger intercepted Minnesota QB Max Brosmer in the end zone as time expired to secure a 20-12 New England victory. BEN BROWN STARTS AT LEFT GUARD Ben Brown, who started 10 games for the Patriots in 2024 at center, started at left guard against Minnesota. The only time Brown has played at guard in the regular season was in his first NFL game vs. Carolina on Sept. 24, 2023, when he played for Seattle and saw action at left guard. Brown moved to center after the first two drives of the game for the next two series. WESTOVER STARTS Source: https://www.patriots.com/news/game-notes-chism-iii... |

| 8/07/25 | Patriots should pursue trade for Tyreek Hill when Dolphins inevitably look to part ways. Both Kayshon Boutte and Pop Douglas have impressed in camp, with rookie Kyle Williams having moments of brilliance, but the lack of a true vertical threat could hinder the offense's explosiveness. Drake Maye flashed traits of an elite gunslinger in his first year under center, but inserting a top-flight pass catcher into the mix could fast-track his development. Disgruntled Washington Commanders star Terry McLaurin has been a popular name floated by the media, but what about an inter-division rival who could be searching for a new home? Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox suggested the Miami Dolphins should part ways with All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill, which could give New England some speed in their passing attack, which is sorely lacking. | 8/01/25 | Training Camp Proving Patriots WR is Clearly in Trouble. The New England Patriots entered training camp having a very stacked battle at the wide receiver position, with 12 players competing from anywhere between five to seven spots on the roster. Barring a trade, Kayshon Boutte probably has the inside track to making the team, as well. Bourne has not had a significant role in Patriots practice thus far, which has led to Sara Marshall of Musket Fire wondering if the 30-year-old could be on his way out. | 7/29/25 | Patriots WR Embraces Training Camp Competition. New England Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte is intent on maximizing his time on the training camp practice fields. Despite being one of the Pats most productive receivers in 2024, the former LSU Tiger faces an uphill battle to earn a place within one of the most-crowded position groups on their roster. Boutte told reporters following Monday's practice at Gillette Stadium. Boutte, New England's sixth-round pick [187 overall] in the 2023 NFL Draft, has been embroiled in both trade and release rumors for much of the offseason. | 7/28/25 | Kayshon Boutte Weighs In On Patriots' Wide Receiver Competition. The New England Patriots have a lot of competition on their roster during training camp. Arguably the most competitive spot on the roster, though, is the wide receiver position, where Kayshon Boutte finds himself among a group of pass-catchers battling for a roster spot. After playing sparingly as a rookie in 2023 with the Patriots, Boutte found himself with a larger role on offense in 2024, largely due to necessity. In 15 games, Boutte caught 43 passes for 589 yards and three touchdowns, showing off his potential in the process. Source: https://nesn.com/2025/07/kayshon-boutte-weighs-in-... |
