Ford-Wheaton suffered a torn Achilles during Sunday's practice, the second time in his trio of NFL seasons a serious leg injury has sidelined him for the year before Week 1. Over the weekend, Ford-Wheaton appeared to suffer the injury in non-contact fashion, hitting the turf during an offensive snap.
