12/14/24	Seahawks elevate rookie George Holani off practice squad again as RB depth. The Seahawks' decision to elevate running back George Holani off the practice squad on Saturday not only seems like another indication that Kenneth Walker III won't play against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. It also gives the rookie Holani another chance to create a memory in a season that has carried with it some learning moments. Walker is listed as doubtful with a calf injury that also held him out of last Sunday's 30-18 win at Arizona. Holani will give Seattle a fourth running back on its active roster heading into Sunday behind Walker, Zach Charbonnet and Kenny McIntosh. With NFL teams having to cut their rosters from the training camp max of 90 to the regular season max of 53 by Tuesday at 1 p.m., the Seahawks have begun making some moves. The Seahawks have informed undrafted rookie free agent Jamie Sheriff that he is being waived, according to a report from ESPN. Sheriff was the statistical defensive standout of the preseason with three sacks, two in the preseason, after being signed on Aug, 6 in the wake of an injury to Joshua Onjujiogu.
