Which indicates to me that their window to make a decision is the last out of the World Series, so time is running out. The Giants' search for a new manager appears to be heating up, with a report that team officials met an in-house candidate this week. Mark Hallberg, the team's third-base coach since 2022, was interviewed this week, according to Susan Slusser of the Chronicle.
