The Rangers have won three straight to move to 27-29 on the year. The Diamondbacks are now a disappointing 25-30 and sit in fourth in the National League West, despite going all-in this offseason to acquire Eduardo Rodriguez, Eugenio Suarez and Jordan Montgomery. Offensively, the Rangers were powered by superstar shortstop Corey Seager, who hit a two-run homer.

5/14/24 3 early-season trades Diamondbacks must make. The 2024 season hasn't yet been very kind to the Arizona Diamondbacks, who had high hopes of defending their shocking National League pennant from a year ago. Unfortunately, the trade market can't get the Diamondbacks a healthy Eduardo Rodriguez or a return to All-Star form for Corbin Carroll, which is probably what they want most of all. It's now time to play the role of general manager Mike Hazen and make the moves that will shore up the D-Backs roster.

Lovullo added the team got Rodriguez to recreate the issue after pulling Rodriguez out of the game, but it was a “tiny bit of discomfort.” Arizona's medical staff was “encouraged” that the injury isn't significant, Lovullo added.

12/14/23 Why Red Sox Reportedly Didn't Make Offer To Eduardo Rodriguez. Many questioned whether or not the Boston Red Sox could try to reunite with starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez this offseason. Boston's reasoning behind not making an offer didn't have much to do with the past successes or future potential of the 30-year-old, however. “It's worth noting that the Sox met with free agent lefthander Eduardo Rodriguez, a longtime pitcher in Boston, during the recent Winter Meetings in Nashville,” Speier wrote.
